Hope this is ok asking this, I will stress the site does not exist anymore in it's original form so don't go searching for it!

Does anyone remember a proper amateur swingers site run by Melanie and Adam from many years ago?

Not sure where they were based personally, but quite possibly.

I was just wondering if anyone was on here from there?

It was a really friendly but small place, get togethers etc.

....might have been one of a number of small independant sites that seemingly got bought up to become another commercial pay site full of fake profiles...

I think it was more the website, they were getting a bit of grief about stuff people wanted improving...at a difficult time...and he got pissed off. It was a completely free site too so wrong of people to complain.

That's how I remember it but I've drank alcohol since then!

We still have the same name now as we did on there as has been mentioned people moved en masse to other sites.

We loved it...it's where we started our swinging life together. We went to a fantastic pub crawl social in Birmingham and met Mel and Adam. Such a great weekend.

I think you would've enjoyed it, so relaxed. I joined as a single bloke and just got chatting to people first without any pressure, people get to know you and meeting seemed to come naturally.
