I commented on a similar apostasy week, I hate the term BBW, I don't see why we should have a label, slim toned women are not called SBW....it really pisses me off lol....I prefer to be called curvy...that's all it needs to describe me...some may argue that though lol.

Ah OK. I used to be with a girl who called herself chunky. I must admit I don't like using the chunky or big girl wording

Yeah I can understand that. No one really likes to be labelled, I think the society we live gives everything a label nowadays unfortunately

I'd say 'chunky' is best applied to men, not women

For balance, 'curvy' is, to me, has more of a feminine undertones

1. Yes, I (Luke) absolutely prefer curves. You can tell be looking at Hannah! A woman can very easily be too slim for me to find her attractive. Muffin tops are very sexy in my eyes, as much as women hate them and are shamed for having them.

2. We go with curvy and voluptuous.

On here I prefer BBW, SSBBW or voluptuous.

I've gone beyond the curvy label, so would never describe myself as that.

In everyday life I describe myself as fat, because I am.

If someone says 'fat' intending to hurt then that they are just a dick and their opinion means nothing.

I had an ex who was quite curvy.

Later on she was determined to lose a lot of her weight, and whilst the most important thing was for her to feel happy,it was hard not to say,you look tremendous the way you are.

So whatever you prefer to ge called, be proud of your curves.

Fair play to all those who embrace and have reclaimed words like fat, chunky, heavy etc

The fat positivity movement is a great idea, it's just a descriptive word after all but it's loaded with so much negativity it's going to be hard to shake it all off

More power to all of us to be happy in our own skins though!

People have different ideas on terms for different sizes, someone’s view on curvy might be different from someone else’s. Attraction comes in many forms which may attract us to someone differently, physically some may have preference on build size etc We both prefer someone with plus size but it goes on the person and the chemistry, a pretty face is also a big plus x

"How does Rubenesque sit with you ladies out of interest? "

That’s my favourite term, I love the classical and very feminine feel that it generates. I also love being curvy or curvaceous. I’m not too keen on BBW or SSBBW as I believe beauty comes from the inside, but both are at least terms that thankfully most understand.

The one description I really object to is “thick” which I find quite offensive and think may originate from America.

I like to referred to as curvy, or a larger lady. I don’t like the term BBW just as I don’t like the term BBC as I don’t think people should be defined by the shape of their body or the colour of their skin, although I know some people do

"I class myself as curvy on here.. Some may say fat but I'm far from that. Only few lumps n bumps.. And if men can't handle a real women jyst don't message me. Or the others

All women are real women regardless of size. Having curves does not make you more real than an athletic built woman "

Yessss I hate the term "real woman" as opposed to what?! A wooden woman? Ceramic? Tin foil?

Well firstly Im a woman, no different then any other woman, theres just more of me.

I feel like curvy is more reserved for what I would class as average these days, flat stomach with some tits and ass.

I tend to go with plus size firstly. Then voluptuous, fat, full figured or thicc. I hate BBW, it's just kind of ick and fetishy IMO.

Why do men send countless "you're not fat, you're beautiful" "don't put yourself down" messages. Do they think I'll find it flattering? I am fat. I'd say I'm half decent to look at too. It feels like they're more uncomfortable with the word than I am and they're probably not open about fucking fatties. Because being fat is very, very bad don't you know If you like to fuck fat babes and you're in the North... Message me

Was it Mika who sung Big Girls You Are Beautiful?

True words though, and same goes for all women. Definitely should be self-worthy and use complimentary terms. Curvy and voluptuous sound desireful.

L describes herself as chunky. Covid has not helped, and currys... I don't like that description.

I personally prefer curvy and voluptuous ladies.... L feels more at ease around voluptuous females... So a win win for me!

I dont mind BBW/Fat/Chunky.. its all totally down to the context.

Voluptuous/Rubenesque

I am curvy as i've boobs, bum, hips..

There are some very large women who i dont feel are as shapely (hour glass) that the word'curvy' is intended for.

Im more SSBBW anyways
