"Probably haven’t worded that properly. X"

Basically you are wondering why post op TV/TS's don't change their profile to their chosen gender?

Maybe just being open & transparent. Don't know how I'd feel if I'd meet someone who's profile stated female, then later found out she used to be male. Stating TS even post op is a good sign of someone being genuine in my opinion.

I just don’t see why they should they identify as a woman so then that makes them a woman and vice versa I totally understand being totally transparent if he or she meet someone and starts a relationship but other than that i just think if they identify as a gender then they are that gender

It’s a good question, can’t say we have an answer to it either.

Completely agree that if you identify and present as male or female then you should be treated and respected as such. But then at the same time like another poster said when it comes to sex is it a little bit deceitful not to be open about it.

It’s a really good question, are people liberal enough that it doesn’t matter? some are no doubt. But then could it be dangerous to have it found out later? Unfortunately quite probably.

We have somebody in mind who will no doubt be along to shed a bit of light on this, really interested to hear her and others opinions.

As in most of life there are some that do & some that don’t Just the same as there will always be people who say you are the sex you were born in regardless of what you do to your body & there are those who think the brain is more important in that regard than the body.

One thing is certain though whichever camp you are in someone will argue the toss with you till hell freezes over.

Could also be a safety thing. If the person knows exactly who they’re talking to, it cuts out any dangerous possibilities later on. Also it’s their choice on how they identify.

Its a difficult one but playing devils advocate..........

Say a man met a profile down as a woman, they met and say oral sex took place. The man then found out that the person they met used to be a man.

Now the man could be upset, he could feel deceived who knows he may even take legal action who knows.

What we need is another category that's more clear on here.

1 - you can't. It's new profile or contact admin

2- they want the same people who searched to find them

3- some people are pissy about post-ops (mainly the terf brigade)

Personal choice and many do obviously identify as women. They are definitely not men ..

Look forward to hearing her side of it, I am just very curious about it and I just feel these people have probably struggled for a long time and have done something that none of us truly understand so i just don’t think they should be put in a certain Category

I was chatting to a female with the view to meet and she told me she used to be a bloke she was very very convincing I was actually abit gob smacked that she was a fella, she told me before we arranged a meet and was very clear so as not to mislead me and we went out separate ways, so as far my opinion if some one wants call them selves a female, tv, ts, man or a fridge freezer it's there choice to do so.

Yeah spot on

If he or she wishes to tell people about there past then fair play but I don’t think they should feel obligated to as we wouldn’t expect everyone to tell us there past before a meet or maybe i am being a bit naive
