With regard to clubs (remember those? ) swinging hotels, and swinging party venues Per capita I’d say it’s definitely the north west. Seemingly we’re a perverted bunch!

The cities. I'm a Londoner living in Norfolk and as soon as you get outside of the cities in the UK, people and play are so different.

Population density dictates, and when you live somewhere semi-rural, the scene is VASTLY different.

Not if you’re a single male it isn’t! Neither of your 2 (we have around a dozen) main clubs let single males in on a Saturday. This is a massive put off for many single fems and couples who like mmf - as well as single males of course.

Shame as they’re great clubs - but Saturday is the only time most can travel from out of town.

Ergo I’d argue the midlands is far too couple centric to be the most ‘fun’ for swinging overall!

In my experience over about 15 years of clubs and parties, pretty much ALL clubs are couples or single girls only on a Saturday night. This is not just a midlands thing.

None in the north west I’m happy to say (as I generally play with single males). Couples only nights - or couples and single fem only nights - tend to be reserved for weekday nights. In fact there’s only one exception in the NW I can think of!

It must be a northern thing then because it's definitely the accepted norm for clubs all over the south and the midlands.

Infusion can't be the only 1 in the NW that's couples & SF only on a Saturday surely?

Which is daft when you think about it?

The only night most can travel any distance to a club is a Saturday - so why alienate roughly half of your potential clientele by being so specific about who you allow in?

As far as I’m aware - yes it is - and I’ve been to most of the NW at some time or other!

Here in the NW we believe filth is for everyone!

Having one night a week without blokes wanking in doorways, or hanging around you trying to have sex with your partner is a great thing in my view. I can't stand single guy nights in clubs and Saturday night is the accepted sanctuary for the large amount of people who want to avoid the type of guys who ruin a night out for couples/single women.

1 night for no singles = 6 nights for singles. Seems reasonable to me!

I'm surprised at that tbh, I thought there may have been a few others.

Like yourself I prefer the single guys so couples only nights aren't for me.

I agree for choice of clubs the NW has it a plenty

Then we’ll agree to differ.

I was questioning the choice of evening btw - not the concept of the evening itself.

It does - but I’m concerned that we’ll have far less choice post covid.

Oh absolutely we can agree to differ. As with a huge amount of posts on here, it's all about opinion and experience, and since everyone is coming at this from their own angle, there's no right or wrong - there's just your experience. Mine is that single men are a pain in the arse in clubs. Yours is different, and that's the point isn't it....

A lot of these threads are essentially just opinion polls. Do you like XYZ? Etc...

There's also good chance there will be no post-covid. It's likely to be here forever in my view, or at least for several years.
