This has happened a few times, particularly recently. I get an email from someone saying, "why have you blocked me?", but of course I can't have blocked them because they emailed me...

So I go to look at them, and it appears they've blocked me so I can't email them.

What's that all about?

People do strange things. A couple winked me last weekend whilst I was on line, tried looking who it was, and they also blocked me! Ah well!!

Today I had someone message me telling me how sexy I am they fabbed loads of my pictures then I went to reply to thank them and they blocked me

Yeah, I mean I find myself blocked by random people I've never spoken to as well. It's no big deal, and I don't care if people want to block me - just curious if anyone else has had the same experience.

I gave up trying to work people out on here years ago.

Par for the course on here - that's often because people have had abusive messages so they block all men they think could potentially hassle them.

Blocking people silently isn't very satisfying is it.

Winking or mailing them so they try to look at your profile but find they are blocked is much better. Like a virtual "fuck off" without having to say it.

You can counter block them.

I never block anyone because there's no point. They can easily have another profile.

Yes there is, and that's the entire point of the thread - to try to understand why people block you, but think you've blocked them when you haven't. Obviously there's a reason. You've blocked me, but I have no idea why so I'm well within my rights to want to understand what I've done to annoy/upset people.
