Swinging, the female perspective

Swinging can be pretty simple for us guys. Guys just engage the small piece of brain that says "procreate" and they do their business. Then go kill a dinosaur and eat.

I've found that if a swinging relationship is going to work, I have to try to understand the female perspective on sex and swinging. So this is a plea; can you give us simple guys an insight into what goes on in your minds before you get into swinging, during swinging sex, with your partner atc.? What is important to you, and how is it different from guys? How do love and swinging fit together? What are the pitfalls?

I need to understand. Pease help!

Are you trying to understand one woman's feelings about swinging or all women's? We're all different, there isn't one answer to your question but if it's an individual you want to understand, ask her. Or is this research for your book? People usually like to know before they give quite intimate information

I think it will be different for everyone depending what they are looking to get from it.

For me personally, even though I am married I am still looking for the full sexual experience. It needs to be someone who I can get on well with as well as find attractive. I love all the build up to a meet. I want to feel desired but also respected too. This is why for us we prefer regular meets. People who we can become friends with but who are still seperate from our normal life.

Massive generalisations like that aren't going to help your research. I don't have that mindset at all - I get very little from penetrative sex and derive almost all my pleasure from giving Char a good time and seeing her have fun with others.

We aren't all on the hunt for a hole to slip it in.

Sorry if I offended, the sweeping generalisation was for comic effect rather than being a true opinion. However, the topic is genuine and my interest is partly due to being a "Dr"; I'd really like to understand the female brain more. Actually, there is good research showing that male and female brains are sexually differentiated and they react in different ways; that's what I am learning about.

"Sorry if I offended"

Not at all. Been a bit of a crappy few days so I am touchy, but there's a common thought that all guys want to do is make babies, and that may well be true but if so, then I'm out of the ordinary

This is a very obvious suggestion but as you are a MF couple can't you ask your partner ?

Personal opinion here. I think you've asked too many broad questions to answer in one post. There are huge topics in there, especially the swinging and love bit.

I have. I'm trying to get a wider view.
