A compliment or insult to be offered money

Jump to newest

By *litterbabe OP   Woman

hiding from cock pics.

I'm often offered money as I'm sure many profiles are.

It's not my thing and I wouldn't want a transaction of that nature, but should I be flattered that they think I'm worth paying for or insulted that they think they can buy me when there is no reason for them to assume that?

(I used to report profiles that offered me money but I no longer do as I like to choose myself who I'm blocked from seeing and I find if I report people it creates an automatic block.)

Screen shot the message to let friends know who to avoid then report though little seems to be done to these profiles.

See it as a compliment in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, it's weird. Very. But also not really harmful.

Fab swingers, and sites like it are kinda like the red light district of the internet

if you've been offered by a 'gentleman', it'll mean he has offered many others the same thing?

not flattery is it.

It's not exactly something you should put on your CV, but it's not offensive. It's daft really.

Most who offer money seem to be trying to find a cheaper option than using an escort. I may be wrong but I believe they make assumptions about who they make offers too based on profiles. I.E who they believe may need the money, so I think its the arrogance that offends.

We were offered money for Babygirl.

We didn't take it but were quite flattered and it did evolve into some very horny role plays

I don’t think it’s a compliment or an insult to be honest.

Desperate people will go to desperate measures to get what they want sometimes.

I thought once that it would be fun to find out from one guy who offered to see what he thought i was worth so I strung him along for a bit to see what he offered me.

Over the years, I've seen numerous couples and single female profiles that have mentioned such things as being 'rented out by hubby', 'a whore for a night', 'a cheap street tart', and even blatent 'being paid for it'...

....although the vast majority almost certainly described fantasy and/or roleplay scenarios, some guys reading such things will inevitably think that 'everybody has their price'...

I'm not, I hasten to add, one of them!

The only times I have been offered money I have accepted but it was by Starburst and that was during our role play senarios.

But seriously I think it is because so many regard Fab as a sex site rather than a Swingers site.

Ive been offered money several times over the years. It tends to be when ive turned them down politely (as if that would change my mind)! I just find it sad and very non swinger like

We've had it a few times, guys looking to have sex with Libby, asking to buy her underwear, or offering cash to watch or take pics. We've always politely declined.

Personally I just pity those that offer money, as it suggests to me that these guys struggle to meet women by the normal approach.

I also agree that they are also alittle arrogant to assume we'd consider or accept such offers. Jay.

K and I have had people offer money for our services before, needless to say they were blocked and reported rather sharpish. We've had a couple of guys offer to buy used underwear and thought "Why not" before but when it comes to actually parting with cash they mysteriously go silent/ UNLOS/ blocked

They usually start their message with 'no offence intended' - then proceed to imply that Niki is a prostitute and I'm her pimp!

But can't be offended by some sad random person, so just delete and block.

I suppose it depends on the amount offered.

Less than about £100 per hour they are looking for a cheap escort.

Over £500ph and I guess it's a compliment.

Guys offering money will invariably be trying to get your attention so you'll talk to them for long enough to get them off.

Like, I'm sure some guys will be serious. But don't be surprised if they disappear once the post-nut clarity dawns on them.

Any interest that's legal is a potential compliment but the style of interest expressed is only a reflection of the person making it.

This . It’s a front to get communication mostly.

Even funnier when people have seen you on adult sites then think they can approach you on here and ignore your profile text completely

I’ve chatted to women on here before and then after a few messages they have come out and said that they are escorts and here are the prices. I just said that someone like me doesn’t have to pay for it and leave them to it. Maybe these guys are having the same problem and then just assume that it’s a thing on here and offer money to anyone.

A lot of assumptions there. Who knows what they are after or why apart from them? A one off? A more involved relationship? A sugar daddie role? A findom / finsub fetish? An inducement to some reply / any reply... A creative intro mail as opposed to the "fancy a fuck / can I ask you a question" ones... And probably many more.

To your question OP, I wouldn't read any more into it than the question? Or if you really want to understand the nuts and bolts of it... Ask the messager why they thought you'd welcome that sort of approach.

Not been offered money outright, but have been asked to go away for the weekend in a nice hotel in Manchester and he’d pay for the room, dinner etc...

Effectively I’d be on his arm for the weekend, I turned him down as I don’t like to feel ‘owned’ but must admit later I regretted the decision and it’s one of my fantasies now.

Whether you view it as an insult or compliment it's against site rules.

Something is always done about reports of they can be values regardless of what people claim to know on the forum

Its a lack of respect for someone to do it and besides someone must be a real ugly munter to do it it stands to sense they are if they have to resort to it.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

--

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
