A general question for the ladies and couples out there.

One of the most common factors I’ve found on this site is that women and couples generally get barraged by single guys.

As a single guy, im finding it really hard to get any responses (at the same time appreciating im not everyone’s cup of tea) but just how many messages / winks etc are you guys getting?

One couple told me they were getting hundreds of messages a day, surely this can’t be true?!

It might be true. We get about two messages a week and 3 winks a day. We do have pretty strict mail filters on and we are out of most people's age range though.

About 150 messages a day I hardly ever check winks but I just did and there is 121. Women get loads and loads and loads x

I realise that women get loads of messages, but what would make a message stand out amongst that lot for you?

I only ask because you've got a figure to die for and you're definitely the kind of lady I'd be interested in*

* I don't for one moment expect that feeling to be reciprocated so fine to talk theoretically

We are getting at least 20+ messages a day, over 50 winks. About 10% of them have read our profile, the rest get deleted and blocked.

Simply reading a profile goes a long way.

For me it's not so much the contents of a mail but the profile, if the profile doesn't grab me or I'm not attracted to the pics I'm highly unlikely to reply.

Maybe focus on showing yourself off best there. I don't think you have a bad profile btw good luck OP

Haha thank you lovely xxx age is my first criteria I don’t block ages as I chat to all from forum posts etc so lots and lots of men in their 20s message which isn’t for me. Then being honest I look at the profile - i don’t message back those that are attached or those that have action or cock pics in public photos. Then it’s the message itself if it’s graphic or contains graphic/ cock photos then I delete. After all that if the photos or details just don’t float my boat I try and say thanks but no thanks but that in some cases Creates more messages.

At the start we got loads. Maybe 20 or 30 a day.

As we have put filters on and blocked a lot of people and made our profile clearer, we now only get 2 or 3 a day.

It's quite rare for us to get a message. Probably 80% of those are from profiles that are single straight men, who proclaim to be bi on the message or hadn't bothered reading our profile to find out what we are wanting. 10 % are from people on the other side of the country. 9% are in response to forum threads and 1 % interest us.

I think I'm pretty well covered in all those bases, to be honest, I'm how I approach messaging. The real problem is thinking of a good message header that stands out

If I tick the Looking for men box on my profile I can get 50 messages a day. Even with my ridiculously shit profile and one cleavage pic.

Varies greatly. Some days we get a couple of messages, if we upload a new pic or vid or put up a status it can be hundreds.

The biggest things for us - face pics attached in the message.

A non blank profile so we can reply to something you've written about yourself.

A humourous or witty first message.

Attractive pictures, preferably showing off all your body.

Things that don't do it for us - "hey how are you".

Overly crude, vulgar or direct first messages.

Ignoring our preferences.

Text speak.

Everyone is different though so that's probably very little help!

Just did a quick count. I got 77 messages yesterday. It was very overwhelming when I first came on here. Several hundred messages a day coming in faster than I could read them until I learned to use filters. I do think newbies get hit the hardest though.

So yea please be patient when the ladies take a while to respond.

The rare occasions I unblock men from messaging and upload a new pic. Messages go through the roof

Varies from person to person. If you appear on hot pics 1/2 etc and have men able to messsge well triple figures a day is pretty easy to achieve in messages in my experiences anyway .

Currently I have only women able to message and it’s like 1 a week

amazingly if I allow couples it’s more around 20 a day .

Thanks for all the replies to everyone! I think the key take home is be decent and interesting, try to stand out and hopefully persistence will find people that want to play!

Actually a very insightful forum and seems fab community is a lot better than I expected
