Recently we were talking to a "couple", getting on really well, looking towards a social that probably would've gone I further anyway. Then get a message saying "oh no, my wife was recognised so has stopped playing! Would love keep talking". Er... Well that just sounds weird. 3 weeks later... Oh look the couples profile is back as he tries it on again with other couples.

Seems like such a long winded way of achieving nothing in a shitty way. Anything to beat that?

Very likely to be a guy having a wank, unless you got specific engagement from the woman. Unfortunately very common..

Another problem I used to have a lot when I was on here as a couple was couples that wouldn't mention their cocaine habit and how it was essential to their meets - but not mentioned until we were arranging something, after a fair while of talking as a foursome.

It only happened twice but it's weird that it happened twice - just be up-front, surely most people wouldn't be comfortable with you snorting during a meet

Part-way through typing I realised that although it left quite the impression on my wife and I, it only actually happened twice
