Sudden Location Changes

Has anyone else noticed how some profiles have sudden - and in some cases, repeated - location changes?

In the last couple of months I've exchanged messages with a few people - on couple and single female profiles - where their location has changed for no apparent reason, and in one instance, more than once...

....I know that people occasionally change their location to reflect where they are on holiday, for example, and then revert back - but the changes I've witnessed seem rather random...

One that was local-ish to me (while here on holiday, they said) then changed to 'Scotland', and since to a South Yorks city...

....another's gone from a suburban southern town to a West Yorks city...

....both 100's of miles at a time, not just to a neighbouring area...

If we're visiting an area for the weekend then we'll change our location to that area. Your local news feed then shows updates from that area.

Are you talking home location or current GPS location. Because our profile will often show different GPS based locations miles apart throughout the day.

As I said, I know some do it as mentioned above, for holidays, weekends away, etc - just seems odd when it's a few weeks here, a few there, and then somewhere else...

....perhaps it's just me being overly suspicious...

This is the 21st century people are more mobile than in the past, we have homes in Yorkshire & Scotland and relatives in Worcestershire, Dorset and London. We move about a lot, sorry if it bothers you but that's our choice.

Suspicious of what?

I've been here many years and moved home three times since I signed up. I set my location to where I'm going, to suss out the people in the area, I don't live where my profile states I do.

We change our location sometimes when we are away for a weekend together somewhere.

Good to see who is in the area and if anyone takes our fancy (and us them of course).
