I'm not going to mention names here but we have have been speaking to a couple for a very long time, as stated in our profile we are actively looking and not into ping pong msgs, every time we suggest meeting for a social, all we get is reasons they can't and now we are wondering if they are a genuine couple even though there are verifications.. not many but there are some and not very recent. It's mind boggling and just want to know what the signs are to know that they are actually not as genuine as they pose.

If it feels wrong then it usually is. Couple aka single guys are a pain not sure why they do that but asking for a meet usually sends them packing.

It really is very odd, we don't understand that if your on here as a couple but never meet or even try to make plans then why are they on here...I just don't understand the fact that "they" are also verified.

The only thing I would say is not to judge anyone too quickly right now if they don’t want to meet for any reason, even for a social.

Its all affecting people in different ways, some are happy, some get anxious about it.

There’s a lot of people who aren’t meeting at the moment due to COVID, i’m happy to speak to people on here but it’s illegal for me to meet anyone outside my house

not meeting doesn’t necessarily mean theyre not genuine

That's all they'll do is chat.. Ok covid has now a part to play in meeting people.. It's a logistical nightmare even to meet for a social in a pub now.

Even so, if you've asked and been given reasons why they can't, which means won't.

Apply the three srikes and you're out rule..

People who want to meet will, those that mess people around won't

We're a real couple and find it real hard to get our working life to match our social life so can be hard organising anything, which could put others off

The hardest thing about meeting couples is that everybody clicks, no point taking one for the team. Maybe a member of the couple wasn’t really into you guys and is putting the brakes on. I know that our rule is everybody has to be happy before we all play, no dramas and definitely more fun. Yeah it may take time but what’s the rush?

Exactly this.

As much as we want to meet, right now is all about arranging to arrange a meet when things are more normal. Endless chat can get a bit tedious but if you click with them it will happen when the time is right.

As far as we concerned all 4 were happy with what we see, and tbh we haven't judged before now,...it just seems to be endless asking how we are and small conversations but never comes to anything...and when we ask would you like to meet for a coffee, we just get...yeah that would be good but never actively trying to sort something.

I tend to accept one excuse , two or even three but more than that is too much excuses to not take in consideration. Maybe i'm wrong maybe not but i always say to myself move on and don't stick in the same point if there's no point.

I have been chatting with a lady since before COVID.

We had planned to meet before lockdown but now won't until it's all over.

Personally, I think not meeting someone new, even for a social is sensible.

Maybe they are less comfortable saying no than others.

We want to have sex Infront of someone, the plan had always been to do it in a club but COVID ruined that, we then planned with some people to meet up to watch and COVID ruined that too.

Now we've decided to hold off till the clubs are open again, does that mean we've messed people around?

Personally, I don't trust very much based on cyberspace, I would ask them for a chat on camera or a phone call.

I know that doesn't suit everybody but if they are happy to do that and at least you will have more of a feel for them and and have got to know them that little bit better.

You can make a decision if you want to invest more time or not.
