I've got lots of real world friends on here.

But if you mean recognising someone from fab who I don't know in real life.... I'd not mention it. For all I know they don't want the world hearing me mentioning it

No i meant people you actually know..... Friends, neighbors etc. Not walking up to someone and saying hi I seen your fab profilw. Completely randomly. Sorry if that's been miss construed by someone

Leeds, Bouverie Court

I was once chatting to a guy who had really sexy body pics that I really wanted to meet. He told me that he went to my youth theatre when we were kids and that he was nervous about meeting because of it but I reassured him that I was happy to still meet up.

He was a lot younger than me according to his profile so I couldn't figure out who this guy was as he wouldn't have been one of the lads we hung out with.

He deleted before we could arrange

IfvI recognised a neighbour or work colleague on here i'd but say a thing. I wouldn't want to embarrass them.

My real world friends know about my lifestyle. If someone I knew in real life popped up on fab I might send a fab message rather than talk in public, again in case they're embarrassed. I'd likely offer advice.

If we saw someone we know we'd either block them and never mention it or contact them and say who we are.

We would never "play them along for a bit" or say we'd seen them out. It's creepy and for single women very frightening. Not what swinging is about at all.

Stumbled on my old school friends mothers profile when I first came on here (recognized) tattoos, she was fit, proper milf and used to fancy her when I was younger!

I was single at the time so I dropped a message as if I didnt know who it was

When she realised who I was when we swapped face pics I was terrified lol but the message I got back was

'well well well.. at least I dont have to worry about telling a stranger my address'

Had a fair few good times after that up until she met someone and come off here

but now most locals I recognize just get blocked (such as the ex wife) lol think I got lucky with the outcome of my attempt for the most part I imagine it can cause more harm than good

I block anyone I know that I see, saves any potential awkwardness.

Thankfully never yet had a message from anyone I know in real life.

I totally agree with this comment. We all after the same things on here and if I knew someone on the site I would be happy to let them know I was on here too and that we have something in common.

I think we would take a view according to who it is. There are a small number of people we know who would be fine with us saying "I didn't realise you were on Fab". Anybody else, especially a rellie, we'd almost certainly just block and move on.

We have once found someone C knows. She decided to tell this person out of decency, and discretion has been upheld and will continue to do so. However, i suppose its down to how much you know the person and how well they and you can be trusted, as to well you tell or not. If i saw someone, if i didnt truat them, id just block and move on.

All depends on the person. I once had a girl tell me she recognised me from years ago and always had a crush on me

Needless to say it went well and I was very surprised and had lots of fun! Other than that I’ve not recognized anyone else

We have just had this experience. I fabbed a pic of a couple that came up on the local feed. They looked at our pics and recognised the wife and sent us a message. It's someone she sees for beauty stuff, so I didn't know. Not gonna play, but we now have some friends to chat with

Yeah, this is pretty much a perfect illustration of how not to go about things.

Discretion, anyone?

My cousin is on here with her husband it’s sort of common knowledge in the family that they actually met through a site like this, also a fella i know from footy is on here I’m not gonna say anything to either that I’ve seen them or that I’m on here.

We arranged to meet a local couple we had been chatting to for sometime for drinks. They sent pics through and we knew them from a good few years ago. Told them when we met up, had a great night, discretion is on both sides, so when Covid sods off, we will be meeting to play. We're all here for same thing .

Unlikely a coincidence. She probably didn't want customers talking about it in the shop.

I’m

Not surprised, I’d find that a bit creepy if it were me.

Even if you didn’t mean it in that way.

A better course of action would have been to flirt a little and make an excuse to keep coming back over several weeks building up the flirting, if she responded positively to your flirtations.

I personally wouldn’t say anything to them. I would only block if I think they would cause trouble for me or if it was family members as they really don’t need to see me naked

I would on the other hand prefer someone to message me if they recognised me, think it’s a bit more creepy them watching and lurking

There is a couple on here I know as they are my customers. One is an old guy that is a TV would never have guessed without seeing his profile and another is a female that I find quite attractive and then saw her on here last week. Not sure what to do about her. I did have a massive wank of her pics when I saw them

I suppose it would depend who it was. I mean, they’d know it was me as I have face pics up but if I was anonymous I’d either tell them who I was or block them so they’d never know I’d seen.

Taunting someone that you know them Is very childish and is not in the spirit of the lifestyle

Pfft! What's all that about!

Why, just why.

Discretion is key. The concept of having a sudoname just like the adult industry is for anonymity, same goes here. Isn't it the unspoken swinging rule? You'd think likeminded people on here would understand that and totally respect it and not take that into the real world for examples such as this. If you know us or played with us please walk on by because we won't be acknowledging you at all.

There have been a few profiles we have recognised but we would never think of messaging them and would definitely not call them by username if we bumped into them out and about.I just don’t understand why anyone would do that ..

I had this on my single woman profile.

One man said he saw me walking my kids to school.

Another said he had kids ar the same school as me but couldn't tell me.who he was incase I told his wife

And another found me on Facebook and told me not to worry as he was very discreet

Blocked in all cases but it was freaky!

We were at a club and Mrs was restrained in stocks and enjoying herself with two men.

A couple (friends of friends) appeared 'researching a movie'.

They were less discrete than they should have been, and suddenly all our friends knew and a fair few of Mrs'work colleagues.

Very, very bad form in my view.

play them along a bit but always tell them who we are eventually. Its rather annoying when a person with no pics or veris mails you and says they seen you today or they recognised the car in the pics and know who we are etc .we have recognised a few people shared some banter but always tell them who we are after a short while
