Hey guys how do you organise meets in hotels usually just worried the hotel will get weird if it sees too couples going to a room together or is this usually a no questions asked kinda thing

It's unlikely the staff would even notice, unless the room is next to the reception desk! Or it's a day meet and the housekeeping staff see ya. And tbh not sure many would bat an eyelid, it's unlikely to be anything they haven't seen before!

I think they will notice seemingly as we are in the middle of supposedly another covid wave and your arranging meets !

It's nothing they haven't seen before so don't worry about it.

I'd imagine it's a bit like getting your undercarriage checked out by the doctor, where you'd notice it way more than them.

Not usually a problem we have even booked honeymoon suite by mistake before and walked in as a three

Easy, especially if the hotel has access without out key card. The staff are too busy, seen it all before or just don't care.

I'm guessing with covid restrictions and all it may be different than usual.

I work in a hotel and if a staff member clicks that more than two people have gone to a double room, you might get a knock and asked if you'd like to book a family room instead...

The hospitality trade is struggling big time, and OK people shouldn't be meeting (I know I'm not) but having worked in a hotel for over 20 years, trust me, its not an uncommon occurance

Hey

I've worked in hotels of various sizes. A small hotel will notice a couple going into a males room, larger ones may notice depending on how busy they are.

Everyone is different but meeting in a hotel to cuk is seedy IMHO, no offence.

Newer hotels have thin walls.

If you book a little boutique hotel with 5 rooms then it could be a problem, but in larger corporate hotels everyone blends together and the staff would never notice a thing, and probably wouldn’t care if they did.

The main things I looked for were hotels that don't need key cards to use the lift or gain entry to floors and those where you can easily get or by past reception.

These days we tend to use AirBnBs if not meeting at ours.

I'd say choose a big chain hotel which is busy anyway with a bar/conference facilities or a gym. That way there's always going to be plenty of people milling about and no one will really notice or care. A lot of them have self check in too.

To be honest, I doubt theyll care as long as you dont destroy the room or upset other guests. The one I use most sets aside day rooms in the same area. Interesting hearing several couples going at it!

I would feel safer booking a flat from airb bnb if there was more than one other joining me. Usually keys are left in a box so you can come and go as you choose.
