We are due to be going to a party with a few other couples, so we sent them all a message, introducing ourselves and saying that we're looking forward to, and attached some face pics do they knew who they were talking to.. Glady all of them replied and were very complimentary and polite, we have been exchanging message with all the couples, nothing rude just, looking forward to playing/meeting all the shiz.. One couple we were chatting away to (again nothing rude, just how long you been doing it, how did you get into it etc). They replied to message with a question if we do full swap etc, have we met anyone from fab, but before we could reply they had blocked us... Anyone else had this?

We get this now and again, we just put it down to people getting cold feet or one part if the couple not liking the look of us.…it is very frustrating though !!!

Well we certainly would not block you and if you are ever in Sunny Scotland, come say hi for the weekend. Sadly there are a lot of people on here who for reasons only known to themselves will just block. Don't worry about it their loss. xxx

Could be accidental as i've hit the report button accidentally when using the mobile site, im sure its as easy to hit the block user when reading a message on mobile. Just a thought! Oh or they have absolutely no taste

We had similar thing, we were approached bu a local couple asking us to meet, when we said we can with notice, they replied we want regular fun and blocked us. Few weeks later the same couple approached us again asking to meet explained yet again they said they didnt mind and would like to meet, so i informed of first conversation and guess what....yep we are blocked again lol some folk are so strange

What i found on this site is when a couple ( not a fake one) IS interested in you, both member of the couple show some good respect and are very nice..

Could have been one or the other of the couple taking offence at a comment the other half made ?

For example if the guy looked on your profile and made a comment which she didn't like she may have done it ?

Or as others have said it could have just been a mistake - whatever it is it will be interesting to find out the teal reason at the party !

I've had this done to me once or twice! After a few msges back and forth i suddenly find myself blocked or ignored!

I personally think they are just fakes only interested in winding people up!

(thats just my opinion)

Why are they complete arses - they just blocked them they had their reasons - I just found it a bit odd that they emailed everyone going to the party and while everybody replied politely they continued emailing them - maybe the couple in question (despite how hot the OP is) just thought they were a little freaky

My "personal" opinion is that they just end up being timewasters! Oh, they love to talk the talk, but when it comes to an "actual meet" they wander off and find another victim for their games!

And i'm sure you will probably find most of them will end up being fake profiles!

But as i said, thats just a "personal" opinion! And yes, they ARE arses!!

WHy not exchange numbers quick or have a chat.

if they skip that then block them as a simple phone call isn't hard.

I know phones are not a guarnatee to them meeting but it gives you a better foundation to start on than just stupid messages.

lol and you got that impression and abused people you don't even know from one side of a story?

I am guessing you didn't read the one side of the story anyway as it was a party everyone was going to.

If blocking someone after you have spoken to them means people are fake timewasting arses then there must be a hell of a lot about as most people have used their blocks at some point.

I find people who expect too much from a casual chat to see if you click with another person should re think how they look at this game myself.

They are all going to a party and the OP was just chatting to them, the thread wasn't about wether the people were genuine or not.

Where did the 'abuse' come from by the way? If you actually read my op, i was giving a 'PERSONAL' opinin of what has happened to me! The op asked our thoughts which i gave!

I have experienced folk that like to tak the talk for weeks and when it actualy comes time to meet they either block or ignore mails! If that isnt classed as timewasting i dont know what is!!

Yes it's wierd how some people work? I had an email and also a friend invite.

I was extremely polite and replied to the message and said thank you for the friend invite but I only add friend invites after I've met someone. Um the male instantly blocked me within about a minute of sending the email?

Shame as I didn't say I wouldn't meet, just that I didn't just accept anyone onto my friends list. But hey ho, you can never tell what goes through peoples minds. xxxx

Because we can do as we please as they, you and anyone else can. We do all have the right to block, right to freedom of speech like you have the freedom to whine about others behaviour
