On FAB without their wive's knowledge? Or that are bi without their wive's knowledge?

Asking because I think it's an interesting distinction.

Mine did

Thankfully, I told her early on about my curiosity (and early life experiences)

My honesty did, however, drive a wedge between us

If, for any reason, I wasn't 'up for it' or 'couldn't rise to the occasion' it was pretty much always thrown back in my face and she wasn't afraid of telling me how bad it had made her feel

I was never unfaithful, but it was sex that drove us apart as she used it to seek the approval of other men

So, whilst honesty should always be a preferred course of action, that in itself may steer the relationship down a new road - and not always for the better

Ahh man, I'm really sorry to hear it went that way for you. I'd like to think it's rare that someone would react that way, but in truth I've no idea. My ex very much valued the 'typical' manly man - straight, alpha, and dominant, but wasn't open about it and that was part of the issue between us so I think that whilst it absolutely sucks that honesty caused issues for you, I wouldn't think doing it any differently in future would be beneficial.

Because it made him 'less of a man'?

Because the idea of male bi-sexuality is distasteful to you?

Because you'd think you weren't what he REALLY wanted?

I wouldn't change a thing

If she wanted a man who lived in the shadows to suit her own ideals, then we weren't suited

If she wanted a man too 'scared' to share his sexual thoughts and his emotional / sexual dilemma, then we weren't well suited

We had a ball for 7 years - I look at that and not the shit times that reared up on the odd occasion I was too tired, too pissed or too wrapped up in 'life' to be wanting and enjoying sex

If he's bi, that doesn't have any bearing on how he does or doesn't feel about you though? I mean sure it's absolutely cheating and definitely wrong, but it doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't still love and care for you.

Yes. My wife knows that I'm bisexual and I have been an 'active' bi man for about twenty years now although I have had a fascination for other guys since I was in my teens although for years I did nothing about it.

I 'confessed' to my wife because I didn't want her to find out from a third party. We have been married for 46 years now and have two grown up kids and three grandkids. I love my family more than anything or anyone but there is another physical and emotional need that I have that only other guys can satisfy.

So, putting a little spin on this... would you go into a relationship with a guy knowing he was bi, or would his craving for an occasional bit of cock just put you off right from the start?

I only ask because, reading between the lines, it sounds like a little bit of your brain tells you that there is no such thing as a bi-man, just a load of gays who are in denial and seek the conformity of a straight relationship

I would not choose to settle down with someone who i knew was bi but if i married a man without knowing i would like to think he could later discuss his feelings with me rather than meet men behind my back.

I don’t think it’s alpha and dominant OR bisexual. I have a friend who is all of those things and his wife does not know about his bisexuality, she would find it unpalatable.

This is a great question and fascinating topic it does demonstrate the macho image men still have to maintain. If you asked the same question of the female in the relationship how different it would all be

Yes, our society does have a tendency to cause blokes to bury this element of themselves (if it's there).

Later as we mature and become more confident in ourselves, and place in the world. We can be braver about not being in the "normal" group (which of course does not really exist anyway)!

"I just feel sad for the men. They must feel really tormented inside."

Guilt, shame, embarrassment, and denial were the cocktail of emotions I had (and still have) to a degree surrounding my curious tendencies. Almost certainly social stigma (or at least the fear of it).

"I just feel sad for the men. They must feel really tormented inside."

I can only speak from personal experience

99.9% of the time it wasn't a factor

Then a trigger, maybe seeing a good looking guy getting hot & sticky on the TV, and it would yet again be in the forefront of my mind for a few days

I did tinker with lads when I was a teenager and the experience never left my head

Undoubtedly, there are unhappy men out there and unhappy wives who suffer as a result, but most just get on with life and seldom, if ever, act on their curiosity - or, if they do, they wait til they are single to test it out

There are also women who positively encourage it

Well, I'm quite fortunate to have found kink and swinging relatively young so I guess that's a big help. If I'm honest though I find the kink world ridiculously accepting (to the point of absurdity), but the swinging world is a lot more opinionated

Yeah my wife knows I’m bi. I think she finds it a bit of a turn on to be honest.

I lived away from home for a while for work a few years ago and recently I joked that i should have taken the opportunity to exercise my bi side. She replied she was surprised I hadn’t. I said if I had she would have shouted at me to which she replied it wouldn’t have been the end of the world.

You sound pretty level headed anyway lol, we're not exactly experienced but we've found folks in both worlds (in clubs) to be just the friendliest bunch of people you could hope for

We did find on kink nights, everything seems to be more laid back and relaxed though lol

Oh absolutely. In terms of how friendly and accepting I personally find people, vanilla folk are the worst by far

We've only been to a few clubs, but the Attic on party nights is outstanding. It's such a good laugh - like going out on the town, only with considerably fewer of the idiots looking to cause trouble, and everyone is liberally-minded. That and good grief there's some hot bodies about the place

Ahh why did I have to go and reminisce? Now I'm missing it all over again

But before i did i found the man my ex was seeing and got him to come back to my home with me to confront my ex husband who was home from work having he's tea.the look on my ex'es face said it all. It’s so interesting that what unites us to be in a place like this also has so many different unique perspectives.

I’m the exact opposite too. Loved my ex boyfriend meeting men. (but then again I loved him meeting any variety of humans)

Define "bi". I love to suck and wank cock and love to get a faceful of hot spunk. I look at women and girls in the street or in the pub and lust after them .However I have NEVER looked at a guy and thought that.

We have had long conversations around my bi side , told my wife almost immediately in our relationship. We have swung with couples and 3somes . Some worked some didn’t. Now at the stage where red doesn’t want to play but is keen for me to meet guys ,

My problem is I don’t want to feel like I’m cheating , but I love sex , not sure where I go with this . She assured me it didn’t matter but I have reservations , any advice ?

"We have had long conversations around my bi side , told my wife almost immediately in our relationship.

.

Now that really is a moral dilemma and probably not that uncommon

If she really doesn't want to play any more then only you can decide if she's being honest with you that she doesn't mind you scratching your itch

I'm guessing that she would rather you swinging with fellow bi guys as it's less threatening to your relationship and a fair compromise now that she doesn't want to take part.

Is it cheating if you have permission, I'd say no but I'm sure others would say different and that if one wants to give up the other should too.

Oh it's a dilemma for you right enough

Hell no conventional sex is a disgusting thing as far as she is concerned, bisexual activity would be reason enough to murder in her eyes.

"Define "bi". I love to suck and wank cock and love to get a faceful of hot spunk. I look at women and girls in the street or in the pub and lust after them .However I have NEVER looked at a guy and thought that.

I would define bi as someone who engages in sexual activities with someone of the same sex. Feel feee to correct me if i am wrong.Think you'll find bi is having sex with both sexes bi meaning two

Yes that is what i meant. Sorry i am crap at wording stuff. I did mean same sex as well as opposite sex "

..... I get that but I don't FANCY blokes at all. A man who fancies men and women could be described as "bi" . I only like the COCK and spunk ... I have no desire to have a LOVING relationship with a guy . It's not simple is it

I don't understand how you can have any sexual contact with someone you don't find sexually attractive

I'm orally bi only and my wife knows this. Bi mmf are things we have tried a few times and Jessica seems to like watching me giving or getting oral from a bloke.

Strange thing is the thought of sucking cock without her present is totally repulsive to me, I do not find men attractive but show me a nice hard cock and I want to drop to my knees and share it with Jessica.

Am I bi? Or do I just like to share a cock with my wife? Who knows and frankly who cares. It works for us and we have both enjoyed our bi mmf experiences.

For me, this rings true as well

I would suck a cock if there's a woman present. I have no sexual feelings towards men unless a woman is involved in some way, even if she's just watching.

My wife is aware of my bi tendancies, but doesn't always wrap her head around how I can still be interested in women but want to suck a guy.

I totally agree with this, there has to be a woman present otherwise I find sucking a man abhorrent, very strange

What we don't agree with are the people that use bi-sexuality as some sort of get out of jail free card. Cheating is cheating whether you are bisexual, homosexual or heterosexual.

Yes she knows and to be honest she encouraged it more and we only ever play together never alone, she even helps to dress me as well as doing make up we even go out to buy clothes and we both enjoy same sex and male female fun. So bi sex is you like both sexes.

And the amount of straight men who contact us thinking were stupid and try to tell us they're bi all of a sudden, we just block males and females as if they can cheat on there partners with others then what else are they lying about std who knows not worth the risk.

My first wife didn’t and would have had kittens if she knew (perhaps I should have come out sooner and saved years of boredom ).

My lovely wife guessed (she’s bi too) and positively encouraged me to explore and still does. I’m incredibly lucky.

I think if a man enjoys playing with another man it erodes his masculinity, in the eyes of a lot of women. In ancient Rome it was considered acceptable to be the active partner, but not the passive one, as that was considered femenine. There were loads of gay and bisexual emperors and a few transgender ones to, like elegabalus, who declared himself empress of Rome and was murdered and dragged through the streets. The Romans were obsessed by penises, and believed they brought good luck. In pompei the walls of some of the houses are pictured men with huge penises and women with huge breasts.Servants would be used for sex as a matter of course, men and women. Romans used to enjoy orgies to ha ha ??
