There was a previous thread on this subject, and as mentioned there, wedding dresses can frequently be found in charity shops - which is a solution for those wanting to act out the fantasy in a roleplay manner...

...but in the case of the OP and another couple who've posted, the whole point is to be wearing THE dress, and, for the OP at least, on the anniversary - so wearing a 'substitute' dress wouldn't have the same thrill...
