Morning guys my rant is about the quality of people’s profiles and I was interested in your thoughts ?

It seems such a lot of people’s profiles are either fake or seriously demanding citing “ must be hung “ bbc only , bwc only , must be this must be that , profiles are getting more and more aggressive and judgmental in a lifestyle that supposed to be liberating , open and fun !

I know people have things they want to try and that’s great but fabs is in danger of becoming everything the lifestyle doesn’t want in it. So come on guys and girls please try harder to have some humility and intelligence in your profiles because it feels like we are all drowning in the lowest denominator here and it should be better than this x

Agree but people are allowed to say what they want. Some might be more forceful simply because they feel no-one reads their profile therefore get inundated with irrelevant crap.

I think it's ok to indicate some preference though. And if you won't consider anyone outside of those preferences, why not be upfront about that in your profile?

I don't play with smokers, cheaters, or vanilla guys. And I avoid those who don't have their own transport (makes the logistics too difficult).

But I agree, it's good to try to have an overall positive profile by saying what you are looking for, rather than not do when you get to the end you get good feelings from the profile, not a bunch of negativity.

Hope I got the balance right! Lol

Fantastic comment we should be encouraging a sex positive lifestyle not destroying peoples confidence who might think fabs is all swinging is x

Hi I think you’re slightly missing my point , preferences are perfectly ok , my comment was about the language and tone used in profiles , for example a new person considers swinging and joins fabs as the main platform in the uk , they are then bombarded by a huge amount of aggressive demanding profiles and yes 3 million dick pics etc , both are equally damaging and the person or couple thinks fabs is swinging and it just isn’t , all I’m saying is for people to try and be mindful of their profile and don’t combat 3 million dick pics and fuck and go requests with an equally aggressive profile , it doesn’t work

We have revamped our profile because a lot of people are lazy or think it doesn't apply to them. We know how wearing/frustrating it is when people are rude, gross and downright ignorant... It's understandable that this comes across in people's profiles, however, your point is fair

So your a big softie and a nice person but you’ve created a profile for the idiots ? So you have catered for the idiots but maybe not for the people you would like to meet.

The idiots won’t care anyway and maybe your profile doesn’t show the person you really are and want to spend time with x

Totally agree with you op, its not the preferences, its the tone and aggressive nature. I very seldom send messages as I just freeze after read profiles. We keep getting told to make the first impression count...but some don't follow their own advice! Lovely pics but the personality oozing through the lines makes it a no from me. Lighten up, keep the preferences but tone it down a bit, not all men are mindless dicks

People are using their energy and focusing on trying to deal with people they don’t want but in the aggressive manor losing sight of the people they do want, we will attract the people we focus on that’s my message x

Most of us understand that not all men are mindless dicks and the quality of the messages we get is pretty good overall. However the poor quality ones are shocking in content, tone and intent and I don't use the word "shocking" lightly, dick pictures are the least of it. For many an aggressive profile is a response to aggressive, nasty, entitled and sometimes frightening correspondence.

The thing about profiles is they are an exact reflection of the people or person who wrote it, so just accept that it is how it is, avoid those you don't like and respond to those you do.

I'm that new person!

New to the lifestyle and not that long ago joined up to fabs.

I do get what you mean about the tone on some profiles, but tbh it doesn't bother me that much. I can understand what the ladies on this site can go through and I know that many guys just ignore what is written so I get the use of the tone.

If what they are saying doesn't fit me, I simply move on. I don't feel offended or upset by how it was written, it's just what it is.

Though, I suppose if guys are ignoring what is written, it doesn't matter 'how' it was written and so should be just as effective done differently.

People do need to be careful with the profile though as that is where others make initial decisions about your personality and if it's full of aggression and moans, why would anyone want to get to know them?

(Though I'm not really sure I'm the best to comment on profiles. Mine is honest, but a bit shit )

we agree our profile e was rewritten several times because of this. We are nice people but it was wearing us down.
