We have had a few meets lined up with someone and everytime they cancel on the day say there is some problem but can we reschedule. Then we have had the ones who dissappear off the site the day of a meet and the ones who text 3 hours after we were meant to meet and say sorry heres our excuse. Personally i would class all of these as timewasters but at different stages such as the ones who ask us to reschedule but then cancel again and again they arent as bad as the ones who jut dont turn up or leave site and the ones who text 4 hours after they were due to meet i would maybe give one more chance to. At what stage would you give up and class people as timewasters

If someone arranged to meet and didnt cancel beforehand, then didnt turn up..... Timewaster, gone and there wouldnt be a 2nd chance

If someone cancelled in advance, (& if I believed their reason) .... Then I would prob give them another chance (but only one)

London and Cheshire

If thet are new meets usually allow 1 cancellation.. if thet cancel for a second time.. they're blocked.

If I have met them already and got to know them.. they would never be timewasters.. they would be cancelling for a genuine reason.

When they open their account!

Seriously, all the above are time wasters and there is little likelihood of finding this out until it happens

I am not in favour of name and shame due to vindictive people abusingo

little house on the praire

If its someone i dont know, just the one cancellation. If i know someone really well it doesnt matter cause they know and i know that we are both genuine

i dont class anyone as a time waster unless they arrange to meet me and dont show without giving me notice

People can decide not to meet you any any point of talking, i sometimes talk to guy and at first they seem ok but they may say something that just puts me off so i will decide not to meet, if people cancel thats fine so long as they give me warning, not everyone talks bull shit and some do have genuine reasons to not be able to meet so as long as someone does not leave me standing around for them when they know they are not going to show i wouldnt class them as a time waster

Some people just the term to easily, ive been called a time waster many times for the most stupid reasons, only the other day a guy wanted to come to my house while my daughter was in bed and cause i said no he called me a time waster ive also been called a time waster for telling someone they wasnt my type, for some anyone who wont meet them is a time waster

If we arrange to meet 2 others and only one turns up we're still having a threesome. If neither turn up we're still gonna have legover

Timewasters? fuck em. they're not important enough to get bent out of shape over

However,we've never really came across one

As we meet only as a couple, if someone fails to turn up, or excuse themselves, we still get to fuck each other, so no loss

If we were meeting as singles, would be a different matter.

The timewasters we really cannot stand are those who don't bother to read our profile and do just about everything in their power to piss us off from the word go! Hence our current (and on-going) status!!

I suppose its easy to say 'I have never met a Timewaster' but then if they hadn't shown up you hadn't met them ...

But seriously I have never had the timewasting experience. Maybe its because 90% of possible meets are made through a chatroom and so we each have an idea what we are like before thinking of meeting. I also take time making arrangements as I don't like 'quickies' or 'one-offs' (except in a club environment) and try to find like-minded people.

In answer to the OP for me the only point at which someone is wasting someone's time is actually at the point of meeting. Some people have to travel, or find sitters or do a bunch of stuff to get to the meet and for the other people to 'just not turn up' or text 2 hours after is just not acceptable (and should be reported to the site IMHO). But, up to that point, for me people can change their mind or postpone at any time they like as that is their choice and nowt wrong with that.

Final tip ...always make phone (not text) contact with the other people BEFORE you leave home.

We fell foul of a person who arranged to meet us and suddenly blocked us the day of the meet. We know he met another couple two days later as he has a veri on his profile and they say when they met him (in case you wondered, we viewed his profiles as guests of the site - silly bugger has that still open).

My point is that this is when we consider someone a time waster. A no show without explanation or apology is simply unacceptable and that person would not get a second chance.

If someone cancels in advance, that's fine. We all lead busy lives. However, if this happens three times and we still haven't met them even once, then that person would be not be considered again.

Finally there are those that arrange to meet and cancel as you arrive at the place of the meet. This happened to us when we first joined fab. We have no idea what happened but the excuse was pretty lame. We gave him the benefit of the doubt when he got back in touch recently, but then he's disappeared again without a meet so we can safely say another time waster there.

We now meet in clubs for first meet generally or at theirs I only play as a couple now so I still get my leg over so to speak and if we are in a club and get let down then we still have a night out. But its interesting reading other peoples opinions on when they decide someone is a timewaster. We always make phone contact with couples and speak to both parties too we have learnt and have even got a separate phone for that purpose

I cancelled several meets as I have been called away on business, I did post it on my status and contacted my meets to let them know and got called a timewaster for my trouble.

His quote was "Nice veris but a time waster.

Good luck to him getting meets with that attitude!!
