I've been here a loooong time, I'm mainly a lurker, occasional poster but an avid reader of the forums.

Because of that, there are things I do now that I didn't before, like hiding my dirty washing if I've got workmen over and being a little extra vigilant in quiet supermarkets.

Has anything like that crossed your mind before?

I was thinking more along the lines of now I've read many, many posts of flashing in public places and workmen sniffing worn underwear, It's made me wary of things I wasn't wary of before.

I think it’s mostly fantasy - I am deeply suspicious of what’s posted here having actually happened in reality so no.

"I think it’s mostly fantasy - I am deeply suspicious of what’s posted here having actually happened in reality so no."

There are thousands of pictures of women flashing in supermarkets and the sniffing worn underwear does happen.

There was a thread this morning dedicated to sexually objectifying women on the school run for example.

I'm gonna have to agree. People's "hilarious" stories and confessions tend to read like the letters page in Razzle. Only without the benefit of a sub-editor proof reading and correcting the punctuation and grammar.

Fair point about the public flash pictures, mind you. I've seen a good few of those. Parks/countryside, pubs and car parks (and indeed pub car parks) are generally what I've come across, though.

Just been reminded of another...

Not wearing anything decorative round my ankle in case some twat thinks it's a signal for them to get creepy and chat me up in the hope of a shag.

Surely, your dirty nics can't be that bad. Just let said workguy have a quick sniff. Where's the harm in that.

It's vile, creepy, degrading and hugely disrespectful.

I'm paying to get work done, not to feel unsafe in my own home.

It's put me off the majority of people but especially men.

People are meat for fucking. Friendships, relationships, all boil down to whether the other person can perve on them or fuck them.

That you thought it was a joke demonstrates to me you don't get it.

In my own home I go to lengths to stop behaviours I see men bragging about all the time. Fantasy or not, it's incredibly frightening to feel that abused in my safe place.

I apologise if any upset has been caused. It really wasn't intended.

Don't know if this is relevant but one thing being on here has done has made me wary of accepting friends requests.

I've lost count of the amount of times Ive met up with someone from the site socially, and they have logged on to the app and offered me to see their friends private photos seemingly oblivious.

Quite aside from the obvious enormos disrespect for a "friend's" privacy, this seems like a really weird thing to do.

Sad state of affairs isnt it, women having to moderate their behaviours in order to prevent negative behaviour from others.

If you had strangers round your house for any reason, including workmen, wouldn’t you be keeping your dirty underwear out of sight as a matter of consideration for them anyway?

You'd think having them in a laundry basket would be enough.

Yeah, shame on us for encouraging creepy behaviour by living in my home the way I choose to.

I hope you don't wear short skirts and show cleavage either, poor things can't keep themselves in check.

Yes, I have been at Fab group socials and seen it done...and not just once. The people doing it seen unaware of what they are doing, just showing them round like they were showing dog photos to family.

I only have 5 friends on here now as it made me very very uncomfortable.

I stay away from windows lest the guy opposite thinks I'm up for it if he can see me from 150 meters away in my underwear.

I should!

I've been told many times throughout my life, mostly by women, that I will get "myself" into trouble. God knows what they meant by that but I know it wasn't good and anything a man did would be entirely my fault for being too friendly, having breasts and not hiding them in a baggy top, walking alone after dark or drinking more than two glasses of wind. Until women stop thinking like this I don't think we'll see much change.

I do have to say though that the majority of men I know would never go through a woman's laundry or be anything other than respectful, it's just that we have to guard against the few.

Between Chichester and Havant

I haven't changed my ways at all, but perhaps that's because I'm male! A couple of people have said they recognise me but can't think from where. That's made me think, but I tend to rely on others discretion. So far, so good.

As to workmen sniffing underwear etc, I've always thought that was a lot of bravado by guys that aren't brave enough to actually meet. If it does go on, it says more about them. Just wankers basically, a good filter for you ladies.

I suppose it does show the divide between male and female, I can't imagine any female plumbers/electricians etc doing similar, especially with some guys crusty cacks.
