Myself and MrsA are going travelling in the new year, and will be stopping off in Bangkok for a few days ...

Bangkok is an amazing city!

Every time we’ve been you spend the first 12 hours wondering what the hell is going on and thinking this is the most incredible city on earth, 72 hours later you just want to get the hell out of there!

Hope you find what you’re looking for and have fun, there is more than ample opportunity.

Know it goes without saying but be a bit careful how you tread and with who, just remember things don’t operate the same as over here and there’s a fine line between what’s legitimate consent and what’s somebody being exploited that may be so clear at face value.

I haven't done this, but just go to almost and bar in the busy areas and I'm sure you can pick a girl up

Downloaded an app called ‘line’ before you go, it’s like a dating app but mainly full of freelancers you’ll have to pay to spend the evening with, although there are a few girls just looking for fun as well.

I have written a guide for newbie Bangkok sex tourists.

It is for single males, and is based on over 30 years’ experience. There is plenty in the guide which you will find useful, and I believe that when the sex industry revives, it will be basically much the same as it has always been.

Your fantasy is not entirely realistic, because most sex workers are from the poorer areas of Thailand and speak very little English. You may be able to find more educated, up-market partners on line, but they would be comparatively expensive and you would have far fewer choices.

Bangkok is an amazing city, but it takes some time and patience to explore. Language can be an issue, as many locals do not speak English fluently.

For what you're after, you might want to go to a popular pickup bar and check out the ladies there or try an upmarket escort agency.

I’ve not tried websites and aps because a happy ending may not be guaranteed. If you do try them, your hotel should be near a Skytrain or MRT station so that they can reach you easily and cheaply.
