Plenty of medical professionals etc disagree with your claims. The refutations to your claims of cleanliness/disease-spreading are also myriad and easy to find often, once again, from medical professionals. You appear to be confusing intent with action. The intent of the mutilator does not make the act of mutilating worse. Why do women have the right to bodily autonomy but men do not? A baby is not going to contract HIV. That's not something a child needs to worry about. And if it is then they have bigger problems than having a foreskin. We are also not in the third world here or America where it happens regularly and NOT as part of direct medical intervention. Any decent parent can clean/teach their child to clean an intact penis. There is no justification for mutilating a baby of either sex. If an adult man decides he would prefer to be circumcised then that is his right. Regardless, comparing it to FGM is ignorant - in circumcision they remove the foreskin, in FGM they cut off the clitoris/labia and sew up the vagina.
Making the argument that they are equivalent makes it seem like FGM isn't really that bad (since most people know someone with a circumcised penis, and it's obvious that circumcised men continue to have healthy and active sex lives).

Over half of New infections were noted to be there. Also on desensitisation, if I cut my nails short for a period of time, my finger tip is very sensitive, that goes away as its exposed more and tying back into your hiv reduction theory, one explanation offers that it may be because the skin becomes tougher so there are fewer microcuts. Can't have it both ways. I feel sympathy for men who've had this done as a child because they had no say in it, don't know what was lost in terms of nerve endings/sensation.
