Hiding profile

I've come across some peoples profiles who I know from outside of swinging. I can not decide to hide my profile from them or say hi. What do others do in this situation.

it's a catch 22 for you if you got nothing to hide and you feel they would use or hold it against you being on here then chat to them if but if you don't feel you can trust them block them

I had someone I knew contact me on here, Having explained to him that this was the case and I wasn’t interested he proceeded to badger me for a couple of days trying to find out who I was, and even went as far as setting up another profile to contact me via. Really pissed me off and I ended up deleting my profile.

Blocking someone keeps life much simpler. You can undo it, should you ever change your mind but you don't get a chance to have someone unlearn something or erase them having been a problem in some way
