Importance of sex

How would you rate the importance of connecting on a sexual level compared to all the other stuff in a relationship?

Maybe on a scale of 1 to 10

Pretty much 10 unless both of you are borderline asexual.

How OFTEN is somewhat less important and variable, but the QUALITY of the sex between you is pretty much the single most important factor IMO. Ive been in relationships where the sex was mediocre, didnt work for me and i would always end up in a bed i shouldnt have done. Often repeatedly.

Havent had a single instance of that since meeting L.

We've been together a quarter of a century, sex was everything, liberated sex is still a big part but the picture is much bigger than sex. Finances, securities and future are our focus but sex is still a driving factor for us, alot of crazy times still.

I think it’s a major part.. no sex and rejection leads to major problems. Sly remarks, anger, abuse, cheating, loss of self esteem, trust issues. A relationship without sex is like a vagina without a hole!

sex and intimacy is the most important thing I think. Got to have a level of connection. Then everything else falls in to place.

I have been with my partner 5 years. The first two years we had an amazingly full on swinging lifestyle. Well over two hundred different sexual encounters. Three years ago he decided he doesn't want sex any more, neither with me or anyone else. But we still have a very close and loving relationship.
