Has Covid-19 changed swinging forever?

Will people still meet as they used to?

Will most people not want the risk?

What will swinging look like in the future?

Over to you ...

East Sussex

For most people it will carry on as before. We walked along the seafront this morning and hardly anyone observed social distancing. This leads me to believe that for many people this is all over.

I think that some might establish small groups of people to meet and play with once restrictions are eased and govt guidelines allow.

I just don't know and I don't think anyone can predict what shape swinging will take

Loads are meeting or looking to meet anyway, look on local updates. The answers are, nobody knows. At a guess it will gradually get back to normal. Hopefully most of the clubs will survive.

Swinging will always be there, however swingers clubs will have to innovate and adapt to the new scene. Cant wait to see whats next.

We think there’s going to be a long lasting change. We won’t be meeting to get naked with others for a good while yet. All of the couples we keep in touch with feel the same. We are missing the scene but I suppose have also got used to not going out to clubs.

A good post and not just swinging any relationship really even from a vanilla world perspect covid has really changed things I,m sure there will be a best seller and more to write on this in the near future, to think babies comeing into this world and then later in life may not know anything different to the covid lifestyle we live now the truth is we,re left in the dark on this and its all a guessing game.

I think the government brainwashing has gone to far now, time to end this nonsense. 0.05% died mostly over 70s and still they keeping us in fear, start asking questions and get on with your lives.

True people adapted and no one was immune.

It may be that vaccinations make people more comfortable.

We've found people more willing to chat and more accepting of social meets. I wonder if that will continue and more friendship groups will form

I'm going to say this in the nicest way I can.

Have the people posting this sort of question ever read a history book?

Group sex, partner swapping, being straight, gay, bi etc etc has been a thing since the dawn of the human race. No plague, virus, war, social change, religious ideology etc etc has ever changed the fact some people are a lot more free with their sexuality than others.

The only thing that is different today is we have the internet and hook up apps like fab to find like minded people.

Swinging wont end anymore than human interaction will end.

Judging by what we've seen on here and messages we've received it's fractionally different, people in the main are now very covert. There's those who are steadfast against meeting but there's those who have totally abandoned all pandemic safety procedueres and clearly decided they're continuing regardless. We see parties, one on one meets and plenty of couples meets taking place, so it's not much different really is it, just more discrete. This for us maybe as bad as it will be, more blasé in the future unless the current situation becomes worse. Just how we see it. Wonder if we'll be offered a meet in the next hour, guessing it'll be a yes.

It will make little difference to a large number of people, its already pretty clear many don't practice safe sex already and will risk their health so it is fair to assume covid will make much difference to them anyway.
