no. A lot of people I know say "fab" when they think something is good or nice.

Id be mortified and then crap myself if anyone at work ever said anything with the word FAB in it to me.

I might one day get to say it to someone else but doubt very much anyone would apply it to me as I rarely look like this anyway, im usually a dude.

Considering the everyday word “fabulous” is often shortened to fab. I think people on here overthink it an awful lot. Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking

I think mostly it's wishful thinking as fab is used fairly often (especially by my sister!)

Does always make me think of here though.

Both of these I think. I've dropped it into conversation before as it would be a fantasy to meet someone out n about. My last workplace though Fab became the in word to use, still made me smile all the time though

But, has anyone else noticed, it always seems to be men who keep asking this question?? it's asked almost as often as the ankle chain, it's like one of those questions often asked by the over excited and maybe desperate.... can just imagine it, standing in the pub with the new chat up line ... "FAB place" then expecting the reply "oooh, you must be on fabswingers like me"
