This.

The science behind it simple: if you put the milk in first, the fats in the milk coat and stop the tea infusing properly. The temperature is also lowered too far which again reduces the infusion and if you take sugar makes that harder to dissolve.

The fact you’d drink the resultant dishwater therefor proves you are a deviant of the highest order.

Has to be made in a tea pot. In which case the milk goes in the cup first... If there's no teapot hot water first, wait a few minutes, stir, then milk

Hate getting tea out and about and they dump the milk in straight after the water absolute mortal sin

Got a lecture of sis about this this afta I dont drink tea much so I put it in first like I do when I make my coffee she said it's like hot milk lol ! X

Had an ex who swore by putting milk in first when making a cup of instant coffee. His rationale: kept the coffee from being burnt

I also live by this. If you drink coffee you know this is true. It's so much better with milk first.

However, with the the milk always come last

Tea is milk after water, depending on the tea if milk is used of course.

Milk or a little cold water before hot water for instant coffee.

I really must object here. How can you call out someone as deviant when you clearly make tea in a mug? Making Tea in a Teapot followed by putting milk in the mug first is the only way to make a brew. Miscreants the lot of you!
