I believe it's to do with the UK obscenity law. Its legal to do it just not show it. Or something like that.

Yeh, hilariously a bunch of suits in government made decisions about what was legal in the U.K. sex wise. It’s hilarious because Theres a bunch of tame stuff on the list. It’s actually quite embarrassing. We don’t give a shit about those laws. Consenting adults can do and photo and post what they like if you ask us and if there’s ever a lawsuit about it on a particular person, the government would lose. It’s just a massive invasion of someone’s sex choices. Very prejudiced.

In 2014 an amendment to the 2003 communications act, The Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 was introduced to make VOD pornography adhere to the same rules as pornography produced and sold on DVDs in the UK.

No specific allowance was made for home made content, and I dont believe any test case was brought.

This effectively banned the following acts from being depicted:

Spanking

Caning

Aggressive whipping

Penetration by any object "associated with violence"

Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of if consensual)

Urolagnia (known as "water sports")

Role-playing as non-adults

Physical restraint

Humiliation

Female ejaculation

Strangulation

Facesitting

Fisting

However Myles Jackman - the so called obscenity lawyer - along with other activists challenged this legislation and in following a consultation by the CPS it was amended in 2019.

You can find a nice easy to read summary on censorwatch.co.uk under January 2019

“The following conduct (notwithstanding previous guidance indicating otherwise) will not likely fall to be prosecuted under the Act:

Fisting

Activity involving bodily substances (including urine, vomit, blood and faeces)

Infliction of pain / torture

Bondage / restraint

Placing objects into the urethra

Any other sexual activity not prohibited by law

provided that:

It is consensual;

No serious harm is caused;

It is not otherwise inextricably linked with other criminality; and

The likely audience is not under 18 or otherwise vulnerable.”

Some sites and hosts are still cautious about the ruling, or may be unaware of it.

However, the risk is theirs to own, so I cannot fault them in being cautious.

Absolutely spot on and I think possibly the issue comes down to having to "assume" consent, or the difficulties that would be posed by confirming consent had been given for each and every picture of that nature submitted - is easier to not allow that content and *know* the site is within the law than allow it and run the risk of being fined and/or shut down.

Myles is brilliant, and it is also my understanding that the acts mentioned can be lawfully depicted in our photos and videos.

I laughed at the idea that female ejaculation is somehow obscene when make ejaculation is ok... Or that fisting and face sitting are life threatening activities. Gods I should be dead many times over.
