I don't care if the message is polite or not, if I do not fancy meeting the gent who sends an unsolicited message, then it will be deleted without a reply, and would block the gent from future contacts.

Don't agree with that but there is a difference in being nice & polite in your messages and coming across as boring and not standing out from the others.

Think alot of the time it is more to do with messaging at the right time.

In my experience, women are not here for nice guys who send sweet messages... they have husbands / boyfriends for that purpose! Yes, treat the ladies and couples with the utmost respect but remember, the main reason most couples and single fems are here is to get fucked senseless and acquire something to add a bit of spice to their usual sex life. Just my thoughts anyway.

A face pic might help, a LOT of messages get sent out from profiles with no pic and they're largely timewasters.

Other than that, keep at it - you'll probably find that the people who do respond to your nice, polite messages are a better fit than the ones you might be hoping would respond.

personally I gave up on sending out messages after about a week, it's a colossal waste of effort and likely to piss off more people than it attracts.

I agree that you should stand out and that being polite is for husbands and boyfriends, but i deliberately dont put things like 'fancy a fuck' as its crude also wont do me any favours...

+1. In addition, remember that couples and single fems are absolutely inundated with messages! I remember being sat with a girl once when she was logged in and she was receiving messages quicker than what she could read them. It may sound nice, but could you handle that?

There are plenty of ways of standing out, that's what alot of people don't get in my opinion.

This site is prime thinking outside the box territory, especially if you are happy with who you are.......I'm living proof of that.
