I do not accept any justifications as valid unless there is documented evidence based on structured scientific research to confirm their validity.

Batman nailed the mindset perfectly. It does not matter what you think of me, it is what I think of me that is important.

Here is a fantasy land where people get to have the power and influence they do not have in reality, especially couples and single ladies. Single guys are outnumbered ten to one at least, so know that and live with the maths. It takes time and patience to get meets.
