Only 50% of couples actually meet..

Hi,

We're a couple that actually meet and are seeking the same.

We're finding only about 50% of all the couples on here actually do.. or is it us?

Don't think it's as low as that. But it's harder to find 4 people all happy to meet I think. So there are usually more restrictions. Like you wouldnt meet us because you have an upper age of 50.... Or so your profile says. Therefore we would not contact you.

In 18 months of active swinging we have had 2 meets. We are a couple who enjoy it and also attend socials as its nice to be with like minded couples but we are not really going to ever be a couple who live the lifestyle we just like to indulge when family commitments and time permit us to.

Maybe this makes us sound un interested and some have even said we are stuck up but we are far from that we just want what makes us happy. xxx

You maybe right about 50%. I don't know, but it is true that a lot people do use this site and others like it purely as a social networking site.

We've come across couples that are really chatty and friendly until a meet gets mentioned. Then they dissappear.

It may also be that a lot of the couples that you are talking to are actually single guys so cannot meet without admitting to their con.

I think some people come to FAB with the intention of meeting, but are probably too nervous to actually follow through. Nature of the game I guess. Still, 50% of thousands is still a very good figure

Lol can assure 100% not timewasters lol just very busy lives off site with 2 teenagers a 2 year old and very busy work lives .... Sometimes just crave pyjamas and an early night

would say its probably about 50% there or there abouts, but then, of that 50%, only about 60% actually do what it says on the tin, in our experience, and try to change boundaries when its too late to organise someone else, or you have turned others down, which is bloody annoying to say the least

there are a hell of alot of talkers on here.

weve tried a few times to get a meet via here,couples and males and gave up.easier just go to clubs and see what happens

Plus it's often harder to find that 4 way interest and then to organise a date that is suitable for all 4 people.

we meet...its hard somtimes with other life commitments so somtimes we meet alone to facilitate things but only ever with people weve met together initially and have built up some trust with xxx

some people posting here saying there not getting meets amazes me as some sexy people we would deffo be interested in xxx

It depends on what's happening & other interests with us - that's without taking the whims and whimsies of two hormonal teenagers into consideration.

We always see our friends, people we meet for fun & socially, as regularly as possible.

Sometimes meeting new friends can be easy and a pleasure but there does seem to be a lot of email ping pong leading nowhere at the moment.

Or maybe we're too impatient with our valuable (and rare) free time?

We know which 50% we prefer to talk to.

you may be advised to go away and re-do your sums basing your calculation on couples whom (a) fall into the catagory of your preferences, and (b) those you approach yet you are outside their preferences ...

you may also wish to factor into the equation the fact that you have no face pics therefore your profile may not be attractive to those that do

50% seems remarkably optimistic...we approach Fab with the view that 90% of profiles are fake, and of the remaining 10% about 10% of those are likely to meet.

Factor in that we are looking to meet a single woman, and you can guess that we don't get too disappointed at having had one meet in nearly a year. We actually think we've done quite well!
