Days before digital photos

Who else remember the time, effort and money before instantly having hundreds of naughty digital pics ?

Back in the day buying a 24 film roll, using it sparingly during the fun but then having to post it off with a bunch of cash with a self addresses envelope and waiting weeks for the prints to be returned just to find more we’re out of focus than not ....lol

Yes, you couldn’t send naughty pics to Truprint or Boots. Some companies specialised in developing XXX pics

What a job to work in that processing company ... they must have seen it all ... bet nothing shocked those employees....lol would have been a dream job in my 20’s

As a kid in the 60s, our family had an 8mm movie camera. You only got five minutes worth of film (if you were lucky) per spool. Then you had to send it off to Kodak for processing, which could have taken anything up to three weeks, and when you got the finished movie back, you were more than happy to watch five minutes of colour, silent film.

We really have come a long way!

Film now that was next level stuff in the day ...lol I still got a few old vhs tapes hidden away but no method of playing back now .. they are there but can’t enjoy them .. that’s such a tease ...

Maybe a trip to Cash Converters for a second-hand VHS player would help sort that out?

Digital transfer maybe .. or find a few friends on here with an old player ... that could be a great theme night for a party ... bring along your old tapes and pics for everyone to enjoy ????

When I was between school and university in the late 1980s, I worked night shifts in a processing company. One of my jobs there was going through the incoming requests and look for reorders and sort them by format and and source. You could either reorder a new photo from a negative (moderately cheap), a positive or from another photo. Most of them were fairly trivial, family shots and similar, but once a month we received an order of copying perhaps 40 or 50 fetish pictures. The pictures were not very artistic or even erotic, but I guess that someone was making money by selling these copies.

But I didn't had much time for looking at these pictures, I had a job to do before the the night ends and the morning shift arrived.

during 70s and 80s ex and i were heavily into swinging but it wasnt easy, Pics were poloroids sent to prospective meets from a contact mag , your letter and pic in a plain envelope with the ad number on the corner inside another envolope with the contact mags address on it. Then sit back for atleast 2 weeks if you were lucky till you got a reply from the advertiser unless they were a pic collector and they just kept your pics. The othere means was to push your luck with people you thought might go for it and speak to them at parties or drinks and have poloroids ready to show them

At first we used to send our pics to a Naturist printer

And then we found one in H&E magazine that did more intimate ones !!

But Katie didn’t want to send them in the post

So we took them In ourselves

She was buzzing as we walked back into the shop after they had been printed

The guy just smiled!!!!

I then found the lady in our super snaps in Gloucester was very happy to print our naturist ones!!!

24 pah 36 roll black and white develop and print yourself in your own dark room ( or school ) he he

We remember those days well, waiting to see if you got your pics back and some of prospective meets or nothing at all.

I used to have a shop & had a 35mm film processing mini lab,not one of my best business decisions,in five years before the machine gave up I only remember seeing nude pictures from two customers & they were more artistic than erotic.

I took a roll of film to a local drug store to get developed hubby took pics of me in stockings and garters and playing with toys and fingers and when I went back two weeks later the guy instantly smiled at me and said we couldn't print that roll of film

We sent off a film to Truprint thinking it was from a family wedding. Got the photos back and it was a weekend we’d had at a hotel, involving sexy lingerie and a toy.

Surprised we didn’t get a sternly worded letter, rediscovered them about a year ago. Decided it was safer to shred them...... after I’d let a couple of mates borrow them lol
