If you’re genuinely having regular sex for a long period of time, and you truly trust the other person, each regularly get tested with provable results, then personally I don’t see it as any different to having a girlfriend or a wife with whom you do not use condoms.

But I think that’s fairly obvious? The risks are no greater than your partner cheating on you unprotected and not telling you. The key element is trust and transparency, and herein lies the risk. Ultimately you are reliant on the other person, and the herd of fab will tell you nope, no way, never, I value my sexual health (as if you don’t). At least that’s what I’ve seen in these types of threads before.

Personally I think that’s bollocks, there’s a lot of hyperbole that surrounds this topic, and often not a lot of actual reasoned and logical discussion. Many would have you wrapped up in a full body condom, just for a social.

If anything, many husbands and wives just assume they’ll definitely be STI free - because they (rightly) trust that their partner has never strayed - and don’t bother with testing at all for decades. Of course, this doesn’t apply to everyone... before I get jumped by the fab herd!

For our part, as always, principally yes we would consider it if we had a playmate we trusted enough and had enough experience with. But practically we haven't developed a relationship of that level with a playmate to date and don't anticipate that's likely to change.

I think, like most things, there's a time and place for it. If there's enough trust and rapport in place and it's between people who are responsible with their sexual health (i.e. safer sex always with new / unknown partners, regular testing, birth control, etc).

Everything is a calculated risk, not just P in V intercourse, but all types of outercourse, oral sex, etc. Then of course there's people's preferences outside of the risks, which are all valid.

Finally there's still a lot of stigma and misinformation out there about safer sex practices and STIs, which muddies the issue further. At the end of the day we all need to be as responsible and as respectful of each other as possible.

I've read many thread's on here about this, let's face it it's probably one of the most posted subjects.

Lot's of preaching on one side, lot's of acceptance on the other.

Fact is.

But we have been to many clubs and many parties for the most part people are fairly selective.

The same with meets , unlike vanilla life you have more insight and honesty in people's sexual history.

So if you have known someone for a few years met many times and both parties are open and honest.

Having bareback sex with them is possibly less of a risk then say someone you have been in a relationship with for a few months who you know very little about their past.

We are supposed to be grown ups who can make an educated decision about their own sexual health.

This is a world away from a free for all at a local dogging spot where one person may entertain multiple bareback stranger's in one evening or to indulge and add to said rice pudding.

These type of threads are all about social pressure. So if you look at the hundreds of threads on this topic, you get some threads where people are absolutely villainised worse than Donald Trump for a bit of bareback fun, so then no one will admit to it and you would think no one ever indulged ever. Then you get some threads that start off being openly loving of bareback and then people will openly speak up about liking it and that encourages more people to open up about enjoying it to.

My sexual health file is as thick as most people on fab from regular testing.

Never had a thing, I once got told I gave someone chlamydia, went and got tested and results was negative.

I think luck and been a good judge of character has something to do with it.
