The tail bone

Just been having a conversation with a friend and remembered about an incident many moons ago now back in 2000 in Canada when I leapt from a perfectly good aircraft a few times and ended up flareing too soon on one landing in particular and had about 15ft to just fall like a stone.

Fearing breaking my legs rather badly or ankles I just curled up in a ball like a kind of human bomb with no water to break the fall I hoped for the best. I broke my tail bone which I think is called the coaxis? hurt like blimmin hell and I was walking like John Wyane for a good few weeks but it was my own fault for being far to confident and not listening to ground instructions

Whats the most mad thing you have ever done to your self thats maybe caused you an injury and why?

Coccyx, it's called.

I once gouged my arm open when I fell off an ostrich. Those things do not like being ridden, whatever the guys at the nature reserve tell you! This thing threw me straight into a barbed wire fence. Luckily (it all goes a bit Fast Show here) I was very d*unk at the time

Ouch I managed to roll a roll of barbed wire fencing down my leg once and that was bad enough. I would want to iimpact a fence at speed.

I went for a hike in a dense forest in NZ. I was travelling on my own and didn't tell anyone where I was heading etc.

Needless to say I got lost and wandered through something which started to look like Fangorn to me for a few hours before I finally found my way back. Phew!

I could have been dead for 2 weeks until I was expected back home.

Oooow that could have been scary hun tho to be fair I dont think you would have been dead as I here there are a few old hillbilly settlers up in them there hills with nasty brown teeth due to the tobacco chewing

Im sure they would have found you and wrapped you up warm and fed you until you come around. Then probarbly shagged ya to death or sumat for the rest of the two weeks. Maybe youd be raising little ones now as we speak and learning how to live off the land hey haha x

When the ranger said you could "ride" it you didn't misinterpret him did you?

That might have accounted for its actions.
