So do you use the private notes function on people’s profiles, if so what is the main reason for using?

You just click the tab where you find friend invites and the note function is there. Type in the box and save.

I can never remember names so it helps me

When looking at someone profile, click on the menu, one option is to ‘add private note’

Can be useful if you have a memory like a sieve like me...

When chat gets too long the oldest messages are deleted by the system (around 150 ?). I copy important details into the private notes before they're lost, great when chatting to several at the same time.

That’s exactly what we use them for...

We also use a 3 strike rule before we block.

Notes are great for reminders

Yeah, I write a private note about why I blocked someone if it’s not patently obvious.

Yep we use it. Mostly to remember why we've blocked someone but also, with how things are at the moment, as little aides-memoire on profiles we've chatted with

We use it to take notes, both good and bad. We don't block much and if we have a nice conversation with someone, we'll take note of that also.

We usually add peoples' names, where we met, what we like about them, or at the other end, why we don't want to meet certain people or wouldn't meet them again.

It's a very useful feature.

I still use it after blocking. There’s a ton of people here, and I can’t always remember why I blocked someone. Writing a note is a nice reminder why.

Whenever I exchange a few messages I put down a brief appraisal of what was said and if I think there's a reasonable chance of us getting together or not

I rarely block anyone, but add a note if I do

use all the time mainly to note all the negative stuff and a note with every blocked profile saying why they were blocked ...
