"Can some explain to me what is wrong in chatting to see if we click "

Absolutely nothing wring with chatting to see if you both click. If the lady or fella declines, it could be that they feel they have enough peeps to chatting with or that there may be some geographical distance between you that they feel time would be wasted if they knew you were never going to meet. Could be that they don't want endless chat with someone new. Lots of reasons perhaps.

There’s nothing wrong with it. All my fab friends have started with chatting, sometimes for months, sometimes just for a few days. Can I surmise that you’ve been declined the chance?

There's nothing wrong with it but there's nothing wrong with not wanting to either.

If someone doesn't want the same thing you do it doesn't mean either of you are wrong

Due to high volume of chats leading nowhere I personally filter through profiles, I can tell if we will click from that. I personally don't waste my time with guys who profiles have zero appeal to me.

So nothing wrong with chatting of theres something of interest

Nothing and there's no ban on chatting, which others may or may not wish to reciprocate with. Check first that people are interested in this and that you likely match their requirements. Further, it's wise to assume that they will looj at the profile of the person messaging them, before they read it.

Chatting is a two way street and doesn’t work if only one person of the two enjoys the chat which then means that you havnt clicked which then means no replies to your chat or even a block.

"I click with everyone as i am easy to get on with but do not have time to chat to all who ask."

^ what this lady said also applies to me too.

What I've learned over the years here, everyone appears compatible online when the chat is good - it's the eventual meeting in person is where it becomes apparent that you are or definitely are not compatible!

I agree. I've put effort into a conversation (on fab, and other sites) and got two word replies.

Not just random conversation, but when they have asked for sexting.

I get the numbers disparity

Completely agree, you need to have a connection and a chat. We do anyway. Have avoided going any further with some really attractive couples because the messages are just one word and just not engaging

I don't think there's anything wrong with chatting either... I got a bitchy status about me because the bloke didn't want to chat, clearly he was of the belief this is Instashag.

Nothing wrong with chatting if you can find someone who has time on their hands to chat and you interest them enough to be the one they want to chat to.

for those of us that can string a sentence together without the words "cock" or "fuck now", I think it's a great thing to do. Shows more about your character as well.

Shangri-la

Absolutely nothing wrong with chatting, however, there has to be an initial spark of interest from either the profile or first message. If a message is along the lines of "how you doing?", & the profile has absolutely nothing to capture my interest, then I'm very unlikely to be prepared to chat further, I'll just move on to someone else who has put a bit of effort in.

I don't have a problem with chatting, but 40plus messages a day asking to chat takes its toll,

1 it's impossible to chat to everyone and geographically it doesn't make sense, I get offers from all over the UK. Why? I am never going to travel to London or wouldn't dare ask someone to travel to Glasgow. I also if I refuse have looked at the profile and have decided for a variety of reasons this person or couple are not for me. Happy Fabbing

I’ve had some really nice chats on here, recently with a woman from a forum post. Not too long ago with a couple and guy I’d like to meet after lockdown, but sometimes I reply because they’ve complimented me in some way, but as I don’t think we’ll ever meet (for sex certainly) I just don’t carry the conversation on.

It’s difficult as I know what it’s like to send a message and not get a reply or turned down, but I also don’t want to lead anyone on or waste that person’s time.

We'll happily chat but we usually decide within the first message or two if we'll click or not. This is largely based on the profile of the other person and how much content there is in their opening message to respond to.

So if your profile is a dick pic and one sentence and your message us 'hey how's you?' then were not going to get very far.
