There are other great Bond songs but Live and Let Die is king!

So many excellent tunes.

Casino Royale - Chris Cornell - You Know My Name (really just because of Eva Green)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnzgdBAKyJo

Also Skyfall but I prefer this cover version ... Should have been on the closing credits.

Muse did a Bond theme, called Supremacy. Apparently another option that could have been used for Skyfall. Watch various clips on you tube. They used the Adele song instead. I like the Muse theme and wish they had used it instead of the "safer" Adele song.

There was stiff competition for that theme.

Of all the submissions I've heard garbages is the best

But this is not a bad effort

"You only live twice - Nancy Sinatra. "

This one, absolutely the best one, although From Russia With Love by Matt Monroe, We Have All The Time In The World by Louis Armstrong and Shirley Bassey's sublime Diamonds Are Forever give dear Nancy a decent run for her money.

A second vote for You Only Live Twice." Despite being sampled by Robbie Williams.

I have a compilation CD of all the originals and also the CD Shaken and Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project.

"Diamonds Are Forever" sung by David McAlmont is great.

"Diamonds are.....FORRR...EEEVERRRR (shake of the head and arms in the air winding hands) da da da da.

"

When trying to find the right tone for the song...john Barry told shirley bassey to replace the word

Diamond for penis...

Given the gusto she delivers the lines. It's fair to say shirley is fucking goer in bed lol

"They are all I need to please me

They can stimulate and tease me

If we're going old school, it has to be 'License to kill' (shame the bond and film didn't match). Newer bond would have to be 'Skyfall'..... phenomenal x
