I don't know what its like in the rest of the country but in the North East dogging is almost non existant. two or three years ago on wednesday, friday and saturday nights you could almost be guaranteed some action in any of the well known sites. Now, absolutely nothing, or at least very little. Not enough to waste fuel driving round night after night on the off chance. Is it the same elsewhere. Have sites like FabS had an effect on dogging? Is it the police spoiling thing? Let me know your experiences.

Personally - I think your 'guaranteed action' quote is largely responsible, combined with the Internet, the police, the closure of many spots at night and of course teenage boy racers and stoners.

The assumption that you're entitled to fuck anyone out for some fun is as wrong as the assumption you're guaranteed fun on here! I've never been into dogging - prearranged outdoor fun yes - but I know plenty who used to enjoy it but now avoid - due to the attitudes of the endless single guys hounding and surrounding them when out playing! Solitary couples don't stand a chance and the posting of most regular haunts on the net has meant any guy looking for a quick fix has driven it largely underground!

Apparently most spots now are still busy though - just with cars full of guys, gay cruisers and boy racers looking to have a laugh!! Oh - and the odd drive by from the boys in blue!

To the uneducated about dogging.

First off, there are no written rules about dogging, each person does it differently, some do it with careful intentions and respect for the people and the surroundings, others not.

Dogging doesn't mean a couple, male or female head off out to fuck anyone and anything (not in our case anyway) but most of the men turning up at the dogging spots over the last couple of years seem to think this is what everyone is there for.

The well known locations have been over exposed due to internet sites, newspapers, mens mags and the media in general naming places.

Understandably after the expose on certain celebrities being named and the places they visited you get the 'day trippers' all curiously visiting locations. Not only are there day trippers wanting to see what it's all about, the boy racers take it upon themselves to 'police' the car parks and make themselves look complete c*nts! (If their mates and mums knew that some of them sneak back to get bummed by the 'wrong uns')

Because of all the activity happening at these places obviously Johnny law must pay a visit to try and keep the peace. There are nice plod and nasty plod just like the people at these places of nocturnal naughtiness.

With all the people mentioned above all gathered in one place is there any wonder dogging has turned into a circus?

Dogging still happens, it is still going to happen but away from the madding crowd.

It's each to their own and I like it, so do lots of others but I'm sure we're outnumbered by those who don't, it's dying due to do many reasons but mainly aroundy way due to pushy men who harass couples by following them around on their cars, daft thing is of the couple sit up in the car park these guys are the ones who just sit in their cars and do fuck all! I have met 2 great couples since Xmas but even they are getting fed up off the obnoxious guys and may stop

Sounds like a lot of fun but as you say it's all effort. And those that know the spots don't want to advertise them (understandably) but it makes it difficult for new people to break into the 'scene'. I don't have the patience to earn people's trust etc etc... When I am horny I want sex not to drive around the country all night.

I would say that in Sussex - traditional dogging is dead (where you turn up and see what happens). This is due to the reasons everyone else has said - mainly tonnes (and I mean tonnes) of guys who drive from car park, to car park to car park; never staying in the same spot for more than 2 mins. Then, when a couple appears, they all stay in their cars!

I have a few dogging contacts that I now pre-arrange a meet with rather than leaving it to chance. We find nice quiet areas in the countryside and enjoy dogging the modern way.

Dogging is definitely not dead but a lot of us who enjoy it have moved with the times and changed the way we do it. As has lready been said the over-exposure (Fnarr, fnarr) of some sites due to the tinterweb thingy and the press has attracted a lot of undesirables to some great locations causing a lot of doggers to give up or go underground to find new sites. The new sites tend to be closely guarded secrets in an effort to prevent the knobheads from ruining them.

Websites like this have made prearranged meets very easy to do. Gone are the days of answering adverts in contact magazines with the huge time delays associated with doing so. Now you can find people quickly and efficiently and arrange something almost at the drop of a hat.

In essence dogging isn't dead it's still there but not where it used to be in some areas.

High court judges, solicitors, doctors, nurses, armed forces personel, actors, actresses, celebrities are low brow then?

You do the same things indoors, at clubs/hotels and peoples homes that doggers do outdoors.

Obviously some people don't understand how dogging works or think they are above those who indulge in it.
