Going for ‘not your normal’ type

Obviously the posts come up about the alt-look, tattoos etc on here on a fairly basis, but I’m wondering what it’s like from a discerning female perspective

Everyone has a bit of a ‘type’ and I know this is a generalised question but do you sometimes find yourself thinking “Ooooh, he/she/they aren't my usual type but I fancy something different for a change” and go for a guy that you wouldn’t normally be attracted to, shall we say ‘style wise’?

I like a nice smile, nice eyes, and tattoos. Not into your conventional good looking man.

I like a few unconventional guys. Brandon Flowers in his Mr Brightside days is one of them. I never realised a man wearing eyeliner could be so gorgeous. I also like decent tattoos and piercings.

Yes, I do sometimes think I'd like to meet a guy that was way out of my usual type of man. I find a wide variety ofen attractive but tend to stick to a fairly narrow range purely because I look to "ordinary" for alt type people and they don't find me attractive.

I am always in the 'never say never' category, so I am wary of limiting myself to certain 'types'.

I know that a pint sized slim brunette will get me going every time, but have enjoyed occasions with amazonian blondes, curvy redheads, large hips and little boobs and vice versa...

Sometimes the eye just sees something and says 'yep - that works!'

attraction is a funny thing and comes in many forms i can honestly say i dont have a type but i have to be attracted to that person sometimes its mentally sometimes it psychical sometimes its both its definitely different being happy married as those boxes in life are already ticked and makes picking a sexual partner easier i tend to like the non polished crowd (ie not barbies & kens)and more the casual mom/dad bod but after saying all that i have no clue until i see a pic and a few messages then a little light goes of in my head....

Indeed, attraction is a VERY weird thing, there could be just one little thing that turns a no into a yes and vice versa!

I agree about nakedness and shoes, dirty shoes, scruffy trainers...big turn off.

We tend to be approached by a certain type of man that's what leads me to conclude that men outside of that range aren't attracted.

Very true, I do also think some women think that to....

...... not that I’m going to complain about it, I don’t mind being someone’s bucket list

Definitely....being on this site takes away a lot of that trepidation “oh they’re not my usual type, will they/won’t they like me”, everyone on here is here because they enjoy and are comfortable with sex, so with that out of the way you can just crack on and see if there’s further chemistry
