Equal number of men and women on fab

When I hear people say men outnumber the women on FAB, it is really difficult to comprehend when I see similar number of men and women: new members joining, people online and people chatting on forums. So why do people say this?

I know it's not often a woman would DM someone to start a conversation, I don't do it because I am shy to.

Most the new women you see joining fab are most likely men pretending to be women, it’s rife on here. The same goes for couples profiles in all fairness. That or the Male has made a profile without his partners consent. Either way it’s definitely a male dominant site

I would say M outnumber F by a very conservative 50/1, probably much more.

Only a very tiny % of Fab users, I think it is something like 0.5%, use the forums.

A lot of new female profiles leave very quickly, either they get put off by the instant onslaught of messages, they are simply fake or fab is not what they thought, other reason are available of course

The amount of so called couples that contact us and you can tell straight away it's really some greasy chip pan comb over one eyed freak wanking away in a dark corner with all his old porn mags stuck together that only open for 3 pages trying to get kicks from talking to you or trying to arrange a meet but the wife not available. Bloody wankers!

On every dating, swinging, and sex sites there are always more men then women.....

You have to subtract the gay/bi men that make fake females profiles also....

Then subtract the women/ couples that just enjoy the chase.....

Then numbers are grim...

Check "whos near" on a mobile phone. Out of our nearest 50, it's 47 men, 1 fake couple, 1 fake female, 1 genuine couple. Our hunch is men outnumber women

ok I did that, in my area, out of 50: 16 were couple profiles, 4 were women, 3 were tv/ts and the rest were men

Deffo massively out number single females and couples combined, plus makes things more difficult for genuine single guys, but If every member on fab became a supporter (small fee) I'm sure it would out a lot of the fakes.

you can't use the forums as any sort of basis as its a tiny percentage of total people on the site

Just do a “ see who’s near “ search without filtering for your preferences and you will see the men: women: couples ratio

Do a few searches around the country, including who is online and near to you. Compare your results of these searches m, including online-now, with your jusuggestion op.

New users are probably less reliable as an indication of total user proportions by gender than aggregate users, who include those who have been verified etc.

On the flip side, new women here can be deterred by the overwhelming volumes of dickheads and inbox overloads.

And when me get to top of "mount Everest. They still ghost women, why bother climbing in the first place? wasting time and putting off the very few active women on fab.

This. It's not balanced and never has been.

Within 20 miles of us there are 5 pages of single female accounts, half of whom have not been online in over a month. There over 25 pages (could not be bothered to look further) of men.

It's not hard to see the ratios are off.
