Pre-covid times, why do people who want nsa or fwb not show up or ghost when they say they would? Love to hear some genuine reasons for ghosting?

All I want is nsa or ideally FWB but I have better luck getting a hair cut.

Anxiety and then embarrassment would be the reasons why I’d do anything kike that. But you can rest assured that I’d be beating my self up more than anybody else could

Pre-COVID, I have had 3 or 4 meets sorted all my first meets all of them didn’t turn up. One I even drove 20 miles to the hotel they were staying only to be stood up & then when I tried to get in contact with them again on here, I’m blocked. What do people get out of it? Makes me nervous to meet(apart from COVID)

I don’t think it’s anything to do with nerves or partner/family - I think some folks just get a buzz out of it. A power thing!!!

Afterall we’re all adults if something genuinely arises then just say and re-arrange, otherwise it’s just plain game playing!!!!

It’s happened to me so many times, even with people I really thought I’d build a rapport with in messages. I arrange a low key no expectations social and they just don’t show up and I never hear from them again. Makes you feel dreadful

We only arrange a meet after an in person social, never go off messages, anyone can be anyone behind a screen.

Our first arranged meet cancelled at last minute, in hindsight this was a good thing, idiot had cheek to contact again later to try to set it back up.

That said we prefer regular meets with the same guy, not into one offs

I have driven 80 miles for an arrange meet , spoke with the couple while driving, then when I arrive in their town was told the misses changes her mind about meeting a black man for the first time. Regardless to color it just think this was wrong on all account. Should not happen to any one

A good lot on here are just chatters who like the dirty filrty talk which is fine ,but some of us are here to meet not chat endlessly about what we want to do in a meet ,we travel for ours so tend to make a road trip for us out of it in case they are a no show ,but if they turn up for a social we know they are genuine ,but will happen ...

A woman is allowed to change her mind at any given time even if she is on the bed naked with you. She gave you a reason, lots do not.

I had 4 guys at the very start of the year mess me about, not turning up, ghosting me, making stupid transparent excuses and it’s the reason why if I ever met a Fab man he would have to be very special which is rare on here.

I have it lots of times .I think they get nervous as it might be there first time with a person like me. It's just not nice when they cancel an hour before the meet and I have taken 2 hours getting dressed and ready.

It is frustrating because I'd actually just like to meet people and make friends from FAB but it can be seen as trying to get veri's, and I'm not after a numbers game. I just want to make like minded friends

This always surprises us and it seems to be predominantly men not showing up to meet women. Never happened to us as a couple or individually but we always insist on using WhatsApp first and don’t meet unverified people. We’ve had a few flaky ones cancel a day or two before but never a no show in maybe 60-70 meets

I've have my share of no shows, Ghosting is popular but a couple of guys have admitted afterwards that Tgirls were just their fantasy but it took the reality of a meet for them to realise that.

I don't let it put me off as there are some great meets arranged through here but part of me does wonder if they'll ghost at the last minute Xx

A woman is allowed to change her mind at any given time even if she is on the bed naked with you. She gave you a reason, lots do not.

I totally agree with you a respect that. Every one does have that right. We were on the phone the entire time. Just wish she had told Me before I got two blocks from her house. Did not get upset about it as I respect all couples and females.

1. They just want a bit of excitement in their life, some attention etc. and don't actually want to meet anybody.

2. Fear of rejection

3. They organised it when they had the horn but have cooled off since.

4. It was a fantasy and the anticipation was enough to get them off, but it got too real

5. They planned it in secret and their partner is getting suspicious.

Generally because they're gutless

If you arrange a meet, and you can't make it, it's basic decency to contact the person and let them know. Whatever the reason or excuse, it doesn't matter, it's the leaving someone who has spent time and effort (hopefully) getting ready and waiting for you to arrive for however long a person will wait... To leave someone you've arranged to meet in that position without attempting contact to cancel, it's just gutless.

I have never let any meet down, weather it's a club meet, a private house party meeting or a social meeting.

I get very piss*d off because the minority who treat FAB meets like a knocking shop are absolutely ruining FAB. And giving the genuine single males a bad name in the process.

I understand there could be last minute nerves between couples but out of respext drop your hosts a message at the very least

The same works both ways, single men can put in a lot of effort to hopefully meet up and to be stood up in a bar/restaurant is actually embarrasing and heartbreaking.

Option A: They really liked the idea of meeting but after they had a wank about it and emptied their balls, their brain got back in charge again. They then remembered they have wives/girlfriends etc, or just lost interest. And did not have the balls to tell the person they were supposed to meet they were not interested any more.

Option B: they really wanted to meet, but the whole world was against them on the day of the meet. Their car wouldn't start up; they have just remembered their favourite family member/pet died; they were so excited about the prospect of meeting they couldn't find the car keys/got into accident/could not find the place of the meet; their phone, all of a sudden, would not work or lost all the battery charge, or more likely they couldn't find the phone.

Option C: they genuinely got cold feet and maybe even did make their way to the place of meeting, but they were just too nervous to get through with it.

I don't think any of the options have anything to do with who they were chatting to.

Bet option A the most common on here. So reduce the chances are choose people with good verifications?

(Unfortunately I don't have many meet verifications because I can't seem to get to that stage with men on fab)

Even verified people, in my experience, sometimes don't turn up. Just trust your gut instinct and leave chatting about sex and what is going to happen during the meet out of the initial messaging, unless you have some very particular rules or boundaries. And good luck, OP. Even with so many men on here, we still need luck to find those genuine.

When we were meeting before Xmas, half of our meets didn't turn up. They were all the ones that were supposed to be coming to us and not one of them messaged to say they weren't coming and most of them blocked or ghosted us here.

Pretty sure they either got cold feet or couldn't get away from the Mrs.

We've only met in clubs so far. Which is a safe option all around, as there is still fun to be had if they no show.

I think it would be similar if we arranged to meet elsewhere. Just ensure that a no show wouldn't ruin the night.

Probably harder for you singles. As I can always rely on my wifes sparkling company to ensure no night out is wasted.

Have come to the conclusion that it’s:

- arrange a meet when they are horny, have a pre meet wank , and then just ghost as not horny anymore!

Also

Most used excuse - after a few days when they get horny again is “my phone broke”

We got stood up just before Christmas. Sent texts in the morning to say we were looking forward to it, no reply so I started getting suspicious then.

We still turned up at the pub at the agreed time, sent message on fab with no reply forthcoming. Waited an hour but still he didn't show.

Hey ho, the pub was only a couple of miles from here, so we came back and made our own entertainment.

I have had numerous guys mess me about & stand me up for club meets and even purely social meets in the past few years.

It gets to the point where it is best to assume they are not going to show up due to the sheer number of timewasters and fantasists on here. Then it is a pleasant surprise when someone actually does turn up, and even more so when they look exactly like their pics!

Don't take it personally. It happens to everyone.

I now have a policy that such guys get insta blocked. They do not get a 2nd chance to waste my time!

It makes people more hesitant about meeting though which does have a knock on effect to other reliable men.

Definitely with me. I get anxious enough about meeting people and then to be let down is really demoralising

We had quite a few let downs to begin with, but to be fair they did let us know. We try to arrange a social quickly after first positive contact, keep messages non-sexual and on fab - seems to be a working formula - hope I haven't jinxed it
