what ever you say will be objection handled with evidence from your verifications that you dont stick to that type all the time haha, happens to my mate a canny bit, she used to use it as an excuse and said she used to describe me to them, and always got well you went with such and such and they are like me! so u cant win lol

I just read 'not my type' as 'personally, i am not attracted to you' and move on

I used to get this question too, so I changed my replies to 'I'm not interested, thanks' only. It has improved since, although there are still some asking why. I'm not here to hurt anyone's feelings and tell them they're not funny, smart, hot, tall enough. So I usually don't reply.

You did the decent thing by letting them know that you weren't proceeding with any action. They should have done the decent thing and left you alone.

Many of us don't have a type, though we may have a type that we'd never have fun with. It's largely no-one else's business.

I agree. Can't tell from someones photo if they are your "type" in my opinion. There are some incredibly attractive looking people who turn out to be total knobheads when you meet them and conversely some that may not win a beauty contest but have charisma, charm whatever and are great to be with. You only find that by doing some digging not from a 5 second look at a face pic

I use thanks but you're not my type. I don't try to let them down gently, just politely. I think that after you've tried polite and not got anywhere you are entitled to use blunt.

I don't see the point in people getting arsey if you are not there type, just accept the fact and move on.

So many folk take it so personally, which in reality it isn't at all, it's just not clicking all the buttons of the receiver ..... However a blunt, fuck off isn't nice to get either, I've had that once, they became not my type either after that lol

I would say 'not you'.

What I normally do when people do that is block. You can't explain and nor should you have to. I have people say 'not my type' to me and I say nothing or say thanks for letting me know. Most people are the same. But some can't take being told no I think.

i just hate guys who wont take no for a answer, i've had it so many times when guys have told me they look better in the flesh when ive said no and id like them if we met and what can they do to get me to like them etc ive said no to guys and a few days later they have sent me other pics asking if they look better on them one
