What's a reasonable distance to travel for a meet?

I'm trying to sort a mmf for a lady friend, the guy said she was very attractive, but wont travel 45 mins for the meet.

I've said he can speak on the phone to her to prove shes genuune too.

Am I expecting too much?

you're expecting more than he's prepared to give, so in this case yes, you're expecting too much.

Maybe he is using the distance as an excuse as he actually doesn't find her attractive or has got cold feet about meeting during Covid19 pandemic

Or maybe just making an excuse as not too interested. 45mins away is not that far and even i travel that distance.

His reasonable and your reasonable are two different things. Mine is within 20-30 minutes drive for example. Other people may find 1 hour+ reasonable.

Everyone is different. Personally we dont drive and due to family reasons we couldnt wander too far from home anyway. As long as we can use taxis at a reasonable price that's been ok with us. Aside from the occasional weekend away and club visit, I think about 15 miles / 30 min travel is our upper limit. So several next towns over for us.

We work on an hour each way if we're travelling. We've had guys say they'll travel any distance for a meet so either (a) they're exaggerating or (b) they're THAT desperate.
