I think ours is just coming into the station for its final stop, we have been ona long and interesting trip feel that it's time to get off the train and start a different journey into something else.

How about you guys where do you sit on your "swinging journey" ?

We're reaching a junction in the tracks and it seems to be set for something we didn't come here for originally.

Not yet but it's probably going to be along the lines of a sporting hobby, we live very close to the sea like 100m away so probably watersport of some description and possibly trying to get Mrs into road biking.

Yes, I'd be curious to know this also!

I remember when I was starting out seeing on a different swingers board a couples thread saying they'd lost their swinging mojo and I found it so curious! Esp. as they were well-established in the community so I kinda expected it'd be an immutable identity. But now I get it entirely. People evolve... Also I think midlife inescapably changes your outlook on everything.

We don’t regard this as being a hobby which is replaceable by another. It’s just something we do now and again, and doesn’t stop us doing all kinds of other activities and “real” hobbies and interests.

We’ve been swinging on and off for 20 years now. We’ve never consciously decided to take breaks, but there have been periods of 2/3 years sometimes in between swinging fun when we’ve not felt like it or there hasn’t been time or circumstance.

Take now for example. It will be a long time until we play again due to the uncertainty over the virus. Who knows when/if we will start again, but if it happens it happens.

So suppose our view overall is, and always has been, never say never.

It's like any interest sometimes I have the time and or the inclination sometimes I don't. At the moment I do and if that results in new experiences great if it doesn't no problems. I don't live by Fab it's just a very interesting extra fun sometimes.
