"What is the worst swingers club you have been to and why?

Treading on thin ice with this post methinks. Be mindful that a lot of forum moderators use clubs as well as the rest of us, and heated arguments usually end up after these 'worst club' posts. People end up getting banned/muted etc.

I'd love to tell you the worst one we've been to, but as we are in DERBY, we'll keep our opinions in the LOFT-SPACE

no3 club chorley... only 3 playrooms

there was over 70 peeps there wen we went,cudnt get to the bar never mind a room...

It is a matter of opinion what one likes another will say nooo...My main reason for not going to this club is because it needs megga TLC on it and thats liasons in rochdale just because we swing doesnt mean we should accept tacky and dingy places to have fun in and for that reason alone. sorry if ive upset anyone but as i say its an opinion

utopia was dreadfull was very cold when we went and no heating in the large swimming pool either

I agree no 3 club has only got 2 small rooms and 1 large playroom but ive only been when its been a midweek not on a saturday but i wondered what it would be like when its busy....was you a good girl and slide the gush mat under you as you was about the quake lol

i am not going to slate any club specifically.. because what I may well like wouldn't be liked by others and vice versa...

I did go to a "club" once which was actually a 2 bedroom flat above what turned up to be the local conservative club... that was interesting...

haven't been to a club in a while but the one I liked the least was in Manchester A&Es !!! wasn't very clean but the people where very nice.

Lol wondered if the old gspot would get a mention. Mr notts always said it would benefit from a can of petrol and a box of matches. Yes okay it was ropey, but we also met a guy there who is still a good friend today and can recall some very horny moments on the few occasions we went .... Sigh

Different people like different clubs at different times for different reasons, so what is best/worst would always be very subjective, but the ones that would always get the poorest rating from us would be those that fall flat on any of the following:

Poor Hygiene

Rude Staff

Poor Hosting

Not enforcing their own rules

Poor balance of numbers on a mixed night

Broken Facilities

Rios has at one time or another ticked several of those boxes and we would agree with the comment made above that if someone went there for their first choice and thought it was typical of the clubbing scene, they might never go again.

The Real Fun Club in Barking would be another one.

Unfortunately, many Clubs in the UK are seedy, tacky and quite poorly maintained in comparison to places on the continent.

We went to a place in Blackpool once and as we were leaving (two minutes after arriving) the owner asked us what we expected from a place for swingers!

In the last six years we go to clubs less and less often and just make the most of our holiday experiences.

The Real Fun Club in Barking, aka The Little Yellow House. Basically a council house that smells like cat pee, the cage in the dungeon has a cat litter tray in it, which had been used but not cleaned the first and only time I stepped foot in the place. It put on a "buffet" which consisted of Asda smart price ham in white bread, which looked like it had been on the side for a while (curling up at the sides).

There was posters up guaranteeing men would get laid if they went to greedy girl nights, which insinuates, to me anyway, that they were working girls.

The only nice thing, was the lovely TV working behind the "bar".

I've never ran from a place so fast in my life. Came home and showered.

the worst mmmmm there are a few! the best has to be Chameleons, very clean nice people in fact the bench mark for all, but to most never will achieve! oh and even better its 15 mins from me!

A couple of clubs I would rate as bad or avoid have already been mentioned, and theres a few I disagree with today but would have agreed with in the past such as A&E in Manchester which has been cleaned up and refurbed a lot over the last 12 months or so and combined with great staff and nice customers makes a fun place to go to.

The one I'll name in particular is now closed but was called The Boardroom in Manchester. It was once a thriving and clean club, but went downhill. The Barman had a baseball bat behind the bar to run down and attack anyone who was looking like they'd break into your car...now thats what I call carpark security....

The male toilet was rank with it's own private garden of moss and slime growing on the condensation soaked pipes and tiles. The jacuzzi was caustic and the chemicals that were in it actually burnt the skin, but if you could live with all that it was "great"....

Actually that jacuzzi did give me a memorable funny story. A couple arrived at the club, she was reasonably d*unk and quite loud and made a point of saying it was her first visit to a club and she'd been dragged along by hubby, also his first time. Anyway after several drinks and some time they got changed into a towel and went through the door to the swinging section. She looked in the rooms before evenyually getting into jacuzzi with hubby and 5 blokes. After a few minutes persuasion she starts BJing a guy and carries on ignoring hubby who eventually gets out of the jacuzzi and goes back out of the swinger side to the bar. About an hour later he tells her they are leaving as he'd had enough, she had spent all the time having plenty of fun with several guys and she refuses to leave.

Eventually when she did go through, hubby had left the club and taken all her money and the house keys too. The club ended up getting a taxi for her and a couple who were going her way shared it with her, I have no idea to this day if she got in that night, and whether that either ended there swinging fun or even thier relationship. It did teach me though that there is no room for jealousy in swinging and that it does occasionally rear it's head

There used to be a club in Bristol called "Club Orgasm" (I think it's changed to some sort of fetish club now).

It must be the most inappropriately named club ever, because it's the only club we've ever been to where we didn't.

Very surprised to see R3tro in this thread - we rather enjoy it, once in a while.

Ceasar's was a special case - the only club which couldn't spell its own name. I once enjoyed rather a copious bukkake there (at least 25 guys). Afterwards, when I asked where the shower was, they took me outside, in the rain, up an iron staircase, and into what I guess was the caretaker's flat. The cat gave me a quizzical look.

I dont think SJs is a bad club, it just doesnt have the range or facilities of other clubs? Its like going to someones house that they have turned into a weekend swingers venue to pay the mortgage and as soon as its paid they will replace the red lightbulbs with normal ones and seperate the beds.

To be fair, when we were there last about 18months ago the Dungeon, though small, was pretty well kitted out!

Deciding what is the best or worst club is usually subjective, depending on what you want from a club. A club may not be as big as you would like, or not have as many playrooms as you think it should have. But this doesn't make it a bad club, just doesn't fit what you personally want.

We want a club to be smart, well kept, classy, up to date, very clean with approachable owners/staff and a friendly crowd. If a club doesn't have these attributes then to us it wouldn't be somewhere we would want to go.

I was attacked at a club - which I won't name and shame and don't think is listed here but wish I could - and the most prominent words one of the owners said to me were....

Verbatim....

"We can't police everything".

They clearly couldn't have cared less.

Dark, dingy and poorly maintained. The same 3 minute loop of hardcore anal porn on every single wall. Aggressive looking single guys just staring at us. Really seedy and oppressive atmosphere.

We decided to try and make the best of it. Got chatting to a couple and hung out and chatted. We made it clear that my husband doesn’t play. They then proceeded to spend the rest of the evening ignoring me and trying to get my hubby to play with them. To the point that he called them on their bullshit and we left.

It was enough for us to never ever try another one.
