When is it acceptable to start arranging contact meets ,I’ve been back at work for over a month and no social distancing is being adhered to,so surely with most retailers re opening Surely it’s almost time to start meeting up .And before everyone jumps down my throat it’s a genuine question off someone that self isolated for 6 weeks

I keep saying I don’t actually want to meet anyone yet. Maybe not even this year! Lol.

I’ve been out socially three times since lockdown and I’ve had to be prised out the door each time. I’m happy sitting in my little bubble and not leaving the house.

Sigh

Social distancing and physical meets are totally different, sexual exchanges highly risk a second spike in cov19, that not only puts risks your own lives, but those of others.Things will not ever get back to normal until a vaccine is found sadly. So please stay strong and ride it out( no pun intended lol)

The issue with the SAR-Cov-2 virus is not stopping the virus via lockdown etc. but to allow the spread of the virus to be manageable during the 12 to 24 months it will take a vaccine (not a cure) to be created and then incubate 7 billion doses, assuming that it does not mutate to make the vaccine ineffective. If allowed to run it’s course naturally the health services world wide would collapse.

The virus will continue to infect hosts. It is likely most of us will come into contact with it at some point, this was always going to be the case. It is to maximise the survival rate of the masses via a viable health service that the lockdown measures are in place for.

I hope that makes sense ... stay safe everyone x
