Being asked to send a specific picture to prove you're genuine? For example, a pic holding up a spoon, or making a strange gesture with your hand. Do you think it's rude, or necessary, and would you entertain someone who asked for it?

People ask for their own security, probably because they've been catfished too many times or they've heard so many tales of fake profiles. If someone asks for anything like that we politely decline, we don't even do cams or f to f phone calls.

I've been asks for this on more than one occasion

On this profile with 15 veris and a previous profile with 45 or so veris.

I'm quite obviously fake

I find these requests ridiculous especially if the person is verified.

I can see why they asked, you're exceptionally good looking.

I'd have been more polite and just been hopeful you're genuine (lots of fakes on here)

I'm afraid if someone starts asking for specific pics then I will usually politely decline & move on, that includes the ones that immediately ask for face pics.

Swings both ways. I've had experience of lots of fakes and timewasters on here. Could help prove you are real, that your gorgeous photos are recent, and that you're willing to put some effort in and not just saying what you think they want to hear (but it gets nowhere)..... On the other hand it could be someone who knows you inside or out of the swinging world who wishes to expose what you are doing, like an ex or family m_mber.

I don't think we'd have a problem being asked. Whether we'd bother complying or not is down to how interested in them we are and if we are satisfied they are genuine themselves.

I wouldn't send it, tough luck if they decide I'm not genuine. That's what veris and videos are for as far as I'm concerned. Their loss!

There’s this on kik groups... to prove to an admin you’re not fake!

I’ve declined kik group invites on this request as I really don’t see the point nor do I want to be someone’s wank bank fodder for supposed ‘admin’ rules

Same as some of the posters above, I would not agree to take any specific photos. I don't give my phone number away to strangers either. If that means, despite having plenty of verifications, my profile is fake, then be it.

I don't think it's rude as such but we wouldn't do it. Jumping through hoops is for circus animals.

I'm glad the majority of people agree. I've had it asked once or twice, and I just don't like the thought of someone dictating what I send and to who. I'm verified, and that should be enough. I just didn't know if I was being unreasonable by saying no and going against what the majority do on here

Always makes me feel a little uneasy tbh. Can't really explain why. I always think that they know me personally and it's a way to see if it is actually me. If that makes sense

I wouldn't do it. If they want to think that we are a fake couple then so be it. At times i go on cam in chat rooms but i don't entertain those who want a specific picture of me or us doing something.

Yeah this is my feelings. If a photo of myself won't do then so be it. There's other ways to prove your genuine rather than being on demand for photos

Excatly. I have one cam veri showing as i cant show my 2 meets veris (historic meets).

When im on webcam im doing random things as got friends in chat. If that doesnt prove im a genuine female of the couple then meh.

I requested such before and happily do so in return

Being verified on here doesn’t prove reality as I have found out many time’s in the past

I think if someone genuinely wants to meet with me and I do the same why would we not want to make sure we are whom we claim

If they protest about it too much or dick me around then I can’t be bothered to continue the convo

Next ! .....

It’s a good thing to do if it’s super unique. Otherwise, it’s a video call.

There are too many bullshitters online. Photoshop can be seen a mile off.

Best way? Kik camera. Kik actually tells you when it’s come right from the camera in that specific chat. Of course, there’s no perfect way to be absolutely sure but no, there’s nothing at all rude about it. It should be expected.

Following up... many people don’t have any photos and expect to add friends or start a lengthy chat. Those people need a photo verification of some kind for us.

Our profile is filled with photos and includes our faces. We don’t expect people to trust we are who we are even with that. We are very happy to send photo verification. We will not ever send more risqué photos for that process and wouldn’t ask for them.

It wouldn't bother me. I've nothing to hide. I wouldn't send anything explicit if requested but a photo holding a spoon or something. Fine if it makes the other person feel comfortable.

I’ve asked something like this a rare occasion.

Only because my spidey sense tell me something is off and I’ll do the same.

I asked it recently because a woman contacted me (which is rare) and had her verifications hidden and seemed reluctant to show me her face after general chit chat (but had asked for multiple pictures of me)

It works both ways. It’s give and take.

I rarely do it, only if I suspect something is a little off. If they take offence, it wasn’t meant to be anyway.

I had a message this morning from a single guy. As I won’t talk on the phone and agree to a coffee between now and July, he won’t trust us, apparently I should look for a boy not a man and implied I was wasting his time with being all talk or a sad man pretending!

I’m finding Fab a really odd place at the moment....

I’m afraid it is the nature of this site so many fakes that we who meet and are genuine need proof I’m afraid. If you fancy them why not send one unless they are asking for one with a broom up your arse

People have probs had bad experiences. Also many fake accounts.

One woman messaged me, very forward and sent a face pic. I asked if she had any more. All in the same outfit etc. Very new to the site and within 24hrs she’d left. Most likely a guy pretending.

I think when people chat to someone who has really good pictures such as yourself, they’re also cautious.

If you feel it’s not nice (as I often feel it’s not nice) then just don’t meet with people who ask for it. I think there are so many factors to why people are here, what they want and their past experiences that it’s best to chat and move forward with those that seem to fit naturally.
