I agree. I don't talk about my sex life in general as I'm a discreet person. Plus, for my friends to find out means that they're a part of this too!

I told my best friend because it came up in conversation and I knew he'd never judge me for it. It's a fairly unique situation there though because he's also my ex so already knows about a lot of my sexual preferences, although we never did any swinging. He calls it our "keys in a bowl club" no matter how many times I correct him lol!

I have a number of friends and cousins that know, I have also made some great friends from meeting in clubs.

My old boss new as I bumped into him in a club, but his wife wasnt with him so it was never mentioned again

I 'converted' my ex husband (sorry all, he is nilla again now) & I met my ex girlfriend at a club so now I dont date nilla men or women at all, saves that awkward conversation

I have told my best friend and my partner set up my own single profile on FABS, because they are there for me i know that i am safe. My partner would know exactly who i was meeting and when so if i did get into any trouble beware he is built like a full back on the rugby field. Apart from that i do prefer to swing with him as it's less hassle!!

i let it slip on a very d*unken night out with two girls from work who i thought were my friends. i was off for a week and when i got back my boss had to pull me into the office and let me know that i was the talk of the town. Slapper was meant to be my nickname!! (i work with girls)

thankfully the boss and some of the other workers put it down to the fact all three of us had went for the same promotion and i had got it, so she sacked the other two for gross misconduct!!

having said that, i was really down and upset. from then on id never say to anyone non-scene x

A few of my close friends know. One of them is my safe friend - I let her know when I've got a meet and send her details of user name, phone number and location, especially if I ever go to someones house. She would never do anything with the info and it's deleted as soon as the meet is over and she's heard from me.

There have been a few instances when I've got carried away and realised that my phone's been ringing madly and she's said that she was all ready to turn up with a baseball bat and a rotty...

But as soon as she's spoken to me and is reassured everythings fine.

I do think that as a single female who goes to hotels and on occasion private houses for meets that it's important to have some kind of safety system, even if you just leave details on your own answerphone or on a piece of paper in your house somewhere.

My partner is lucky like that she plays and just lets me know who when and where shes meeting etc.

I tell her the same you never know even as a fella what you could be facing out there lol.

She has told her best friend we both swing and her friend is fine with it and always eager for an up date when they meet for a coffee lol.

But I havnt told anyone.

I do feel a bit thick whats this "Vanilla" dating stuff?

Your boss was doing you know favours, there is no way that alone was gross misconduct, if they'd gone to tribunal the tabloids would potentially hve had a field day.

I don't want to tell anyone who isn't a swinger.

I love the fact that this aspect of my life is mine, private, exciting and for me to share with who I choose.

I don't want to let non swingers into my exciting little lifestyle.

I'm also into naturism which can also be judged by others.

My private life is private!

actually it does come under gross misconduct in certain work places as bullying is classed as gross misconduct it sexual harassment as well to sexual preferences had a similar thinh at a old place and i was a witness to the bullying it is a sack able offence

closer than you think

recently told my mum and step-dad that I was a swinger .... I had already told them that I met my new fella at a naturist spa and my mum made the comment "I bet naughty stuff goes on too" and I just blushed!!!

Have told some of the girls I work with too ..... they are jealous lol

Most of my friends are naturists/swingers so if I'm asked I'm openly honest about it

Told my mate about it mainly because he is someone I don't have any secrets with. We even went on a gang bang together that a couple were throwing . Quite ironic given that when I split with my ex he said he was going to sort me out a meet. In stead I sorted one out for him

If it cropped up in conversation with the right people I might talk about it but certainly wouldn't just blurt it out

i think it depends on who asks

I wouldnt confess to someone who i thought would see it as a big joke and tell everyone, i have kids and being seen as mum to my kids is important to me and i wouldnt want this getting back to them and risking them thinking any less of me for shagging random men off internet sites
