One of my biggest pet hates in the lifestyle is this conversation:

“We like to take pictures and videos of everything”

“Ok. I’d be open to that. But if that’s the case, I’d like a copy of the footage too.”

*Outraged* “Oh absolutely not!”

I’m not a performer: we can both take pics & vids or neither of us can.

We would be the same in that situation, if we were ever filmed it would 100% be with there permission for both of us to have a copy.

There's a lot of trust involved, OP, and a couple may feel they have more to lose than you. Hence previous posters suggestion. But if you can build up that trust, they may relent, that's how we are.

But I take your point that it doesn't feel fair. Your only power here is to walk away if you can't accept their terms.

The thing is, if they feel like they have too much to lose, they shouldn’t insist on taking any pictures or videos at all.
