Dilemma of deleting

It’s always slightly problematic when responding to a message:

People have taken the time to message you,so you respond courteously-usually with a ‘Thank you’(even if they are not the type of person you’re looking for).

This then leads to multiple responses,which you respond to.

You try to say a polite ‘No thanks’,to be followed by more messages wanting to know why.

In the past,I’ve deleted messages straight away,not out of arrogance or to be rude but to just avoid extended replies(it also saves the sender thinking that I’m interested in meeting by forming a dialogue).

The result for deleting straight away,is usually an abusive reply for not responding.

You’re damned if you do,and damned if you don’t. Fab is a fickle place at times!

I reply once if not interested. They are not entitled to a reason. If they ask I just delete their messages as nothing you say is going to help.

I generally reply with "not for me, but thanks".

It's worked well so far for me

If it’s a cock pic or a 1 word message then we see it as their effort doesn’t warrant a reply . If someone has put more than a few words , sent a face pic or so on then we’ll reply saying sorry not for us but good luck. If they reply with more questions or abuse then they’ll get blocked

I have messaged a few people both single woman and couples not really had a reply from any but even though they haven't been replied too or even straight out deleted just means they aren't interested. I would never dream of sending abusive messages because of it. I even make notes on the the system so I know not to send another message to them and come across as being a pest

i always reply take a numbered ticket and I'll get to you in the end be patient
