i have been seeing this alot over the last few weeks i send a simple none rude message normally with what i like about they profile then asking " if i would be the type of guy that your looking to get to know or meet" some dont reply but other reply with a no your not thanks any how or sorry no but good luck and when i try to reply saying thanks for replying and good luck i find that i have been block so why do so many seem to do this lately it wasn't like this when i fist found came on fab

It could be simply to avoid repeat messages...a lot of guys tend to forget who they have messages,and contact again and again even when they have had a polite thanks but not interested message.I had a guy message me every 2 to 3 weeks with the exact message,each time me replying sorry not interested..after a few months just responded with no offence but so as not to waste either of our times anymore I am just going to block you.so don't take it personally...it could just be people helping you to not message them again inadvertently if thatakes sense...

as _ummy mummy says, I block a lot of people too, basically to avoid messaging them again, so if my message gets deleted or on the rare occasion a "no thanks" I then block that user to avoid in the future messaging them again, I guess the couples have the same idea, besides, if they've said no or just deleted the message you sent, why look at their profile again?

If you've received a no thanks why write again? It's to avoid hearing from people you're not interested in again why people block.

its not an easy cope out at all when you get the same message of guys for months on end it gets anoying having to repeat yourself by saying no all the time so its best to block but we do clear the block list now and then and have met guys who we have blocked in the past because we wernt ready to meet them at the time we blocked them and single guys do block couples aswell

i use block a lot don't really worry what people think about it if i am not interested i block but i also have message fliters on so guys can't message i would send a no thankyou as its a waste of time a no reply and block gives them the idea x

I often find this when reading through threads I often click on someones profile to see who they are out of interest and find they have blocked me because I've probably clicked their profile in the past and I've come up on the who's looked at me list and been blocked from that.

Couples,tvs, women and men under 45 or over 60 can't message me as that's how I've set my filters. The site provides me with the tools to limit the people who contact me who I have absolutely no interest in.

If some people are to arrogant or ignorant to accept that, it's working fine then as they're not who I want to meet either!

I have blocked a few people who have never messaged me - usually people who I would normally be interested in and might possibly have sent them a message but I may have seen something I dont like on their status updates that makes them a no-no for me.

we did a count on our block list a while back as we were bored lol and found 11 of the profiles that were blocked all belonged to the same single guy and 3 of them were couples profiles

as others have said, its just a way of protecting against repeat messages from the same person, nothing realy to be bothered about, just profile management techniques

Blocking saves time for you and the person you've messaged. I can't think of a better way for them to show they are not interested, and so frees you to look for people who are.

Unless you're miffed that your reply to their reply didn't change their mind. Sometimes its best to be honest.

I only have one lady on in my block list. The reason is we met, she wasnt what she said she was..I politely said no thanks we cant do anything.

She came back with her second fake account , same name just her age changed and send me a friend add request just to spy on me...

Most women and couples on here have the rockstar mentality, and use blocks as a simple way of being ignorant and rude. It's a case of 'how dare this person message me'.

There are some amazing cpls and ladies on here, and some great blokes I know who are genuine and fun, but they are swamped by the dross. This site is becoming less a fun and free place for the genuine, and more an exclusive club for the entrenched. shame

You're not getting it are you? We are here for our own pleasures. Some of us don't want to be contacted by people we don't want to meet that's why the site has provided the tools.

My daughter is having a Moulin Rouge themed hen weekend and someone mentioned they'd organised something similar with someone bigger than me. I wanted to contact her for details but she had women blocked.

NEVER crossed my mind to get arsey or feel offended so I truly struggle to understand why others do.

oh i never get nasty over it if youget blocked you get block very little you can do any about you carry on searching for ppl that are after the same as you and i have seen ppl which i would of like to ask something and havent been able to so i just post a forum and then i get info from lost of ppl

i've never seen guys with mulit profiles other then my self when i had two

but have seen couples with mulit ones which are the same in ever way just with a few different pics and then seen ppl i know to be fake start new profiles again and again

I do block now, as it takes me all my time to message back saying 'sorry but..' and a lot of people come back with nasty or moaning messages, then I block.

If someone messages me again after I've already declined, they get blocked and not a 2nd response.

When I get a 'I'm off work today, your online so drive over and fuck me' or my fav 'come on bitch my cock is ready for you' Instant block

I will also block someone if I read something I dont like from them, mostly as my memory is poor and I know then I wont find them in my inbox in the future. Tis all mute right now as I've blocked single men for a break (It had to be done, I was ignoring my inbox and my friends)

I do block people who start chating than they read your message and dont reply for days. thatn they reply with a message sorry we ve been away. so i reply back again nothing even though they open the message. i also block anyone who i think is a time waster and also rude and ignorant folks. i dont bother sending no thank you. age filter is handy however i met people older that my age filter who were very good fun. i also block a person or couple if they something i dislike like asking for bareback lol

Some people may block because of your name

Some people may block because if your age

Some people may block because you do bareback

Some people may block because your telephone number is on your profile

Some people may block because they hate the words 'heavy cummer'

Point is people block for lots of reasons. That us their choice

Saves their time and yours. As is already stated concentrate on the ones who do want to meet you and not the one's that don't x

a while ago i use to block like some have said when i got a no thanks or no reply.

but a female friend told me that woman get so much mail they often delete the whole lot if fed up with it or having a bad day.

and i agreed with her so do not block if i get a no thanks.

ive had lots of couples view my profile and most of them are not looking for single guys so you are left wondering what people sometimes really want?

but no. i stopped blocking when turned down or not replied too.

and if i did mail someone again and they were not interested i would say sorry for that.

I cant be bothered, its that simple, maybe people take a dislike to your username, or your previous threads about bareback sex etc....maybe they just dont reply to people they are not interested in. I wouldnt worry or let it bother you, concentrate on the ones that do want to meet you, as they will reply wont they?

OP don't get worked up over people who do not want to meet you. It doesn't matter that they've blocked you.

Your username indicates a particular preference. People may see that and instantly know you aren't what they are looking for.

I always get annoyed with people messaging me again after I've said no thanks. I don't want them to thank me for saying no thanks. I never message people that would say it to me.

I've had it before where a guy has said good luck with swinging then and I mistakenly wrote back saying, yeah you too. I then get another message saying, I do love your pics though, can I keep looking at your profile to view them. Then I've had the good morning messages start, every bloody morning. So a block instantly stops all that.

I have also blocked people who have never messaged me. Mainly if I've disagreed with them on the forum and their replies in posts indicate they have taken my remarks personally and therefore I feel will look at my profile to make comments and point score on the forums. So I block to not give them the opportunity. It obviously works as I've had messages in the forum then saying I'm childish for blocking, so they'd obviously tried to do just that

Safe is sensible and necessary but with people you know / trust or if it's passion fuelled the go with it.

Girls that block are a bit lame but the guys should know better and leave alone if not wanted.

There are some freakin nutters on here though so it's understandable.

the problem is quite a few profiles state safe sex, but when you start messaging or even when you meet they come up with excuses as to why they cannot use condoms
